    Sorry for all the posts on the last page on our last thread. I was only trying to reply where I felt I should, and couldn't remember it all to put it all together in one large post.

    I hope you all have an awesome week this week and that Monday treats you well! I know it can't get much worse... today (Sunday) was an aweful day for me!!! *yes I realize it's now Monday but I havn't been to bed yet, so I'm still workin on my Sunday*

      So Busy yesterday--playing catch-up from sickness and 1.1 million things to do..need to weigh in for 6th week..will try tommorrow..

        Goodmorning everyone!!! ^_^ -stretches out her arms and yawns- Another long day at work again. These 12 hour gigs are starting to have a toll on me, heh heh. But it's all good. I'll be making more money pretty soon anyway, which I am very happy about, by the way. =)

        Sassy- I hope you get some sleep soon!! You definatly need it. Can't stay awake all night like that, it's not healthy. Unless you're a night owl or something, then it's all good. =) I'll be a night owl soon again. Gotta make my days my nights and my nights my days. lol.

        Bill, thank you! =) I'm staying focused and determined. I can see my goal in the near future, I just can't wait til I reach it. I hope you get better soon, and I hope your results tomorrow are fantabulous!!!

        2 weeks of extended induction, GO! =) (I'm going camping on August 1st, and my parents are doing low carb too, so that's why I'm on extended for the time being...=) ) But I'll be in OWL soon!!! Can't wait.

            Hello All,
            I would like to join you guys buddy list! My name is Kiki, I am a nurse, I have 3 girls 23, 15 and 12. My husband is in the sandbox in the military and he comes home for r and r in 10 days! I am so excited about that! This is my second time around for Atikins, the first time I lost 30lbs. I started again mid June and have loss 7.5lbs although I have not weighed in 1 week and 1/2. The scales were getting me down. However, my clothes are loose and I can see results when I look in the mirror. I join the H20 challenge and squat challenge and that has been going well. I walk 3/days a week and doing resistance training with the bands 2 x /week. So, today has been good thus far, turkey slices for breakfast, salad, ceasar dressing and baked chicken for lunch. Well, hope to talk with you guys soon.

                      Welcome Kiki. Sounds like you are doing great. I highly recommend taking your measurements as well. You will be glad you did.

                        Hey everyone. Hope you all are well, congrats on the weightloss for many of you that's awesome!!!

                        I'm doing alright. Eating is eh. Not the best but it's not super bad either. We're going on vacation this weekend so we're not buying anything really we're just eating our fridge clean so we don't come home to icky stuff in the fridge.

                        Anyway, working out real hard and that always feels good.

                          Hello all! I hope everyone is doing well. I am doing better. I had a crappy weekend. I was down and nothing was bringing me up. And really warm and humid didnt help. I started my week off on a pretty good note today. Here are my stats if you will:

                          B: hardboiled egg, string cheese, water.
                          L: turkey, slice of sharp cheddar, 1/2 cucumber, 4 orange pepper slices, 4 grape tomatos, 1 strawberry.
                          D: 3 chicken tenders cooked in coconut oil, cup of fresh steamed green beans, 6 slices of grilled summer squash cooked in butter.

                          * I let myself have 1/2 of a coffee cup of Diet Rite. Then the rest of my dinner I had water.

                          And I also exercised! Woohoo for me! I did free weights and worked on my lower half. I dont know the names of the exercises but I will try to explain:

                          5 different exercises with 5lb weights for my arms. I did 3 sets of 12 reps..I hope that is how it goes..lol
                          3 different exercises for my legs 2 sets of 15 for each leg (I didnt think I would make it!)
                          50 squats
                          25 calf raises for each leg.

                          It may not be that much but I am proud of myself. I at least got the ball rolling. I am alil pooped but actually feel good! Imagine that.

                            hey everyone, been a long day for me, glad i'm finally home. went into work super early today because i had to leave for a while to go to the hospital to be there while stepdad had an angiogram done. luckily they found no blockages, and think he just need meds adjusted. went back to work later in the day. will still have to make up about 2 hrs that i missed during the rest of the week.

                            sassy-hope you were finally able to get some sleep. i have the same problem, this diet gives me so much energy, that i have to force myself to go to bed.

                            bill-sorry you are feeling under the weather....that 3 lbs loss should make ya feel better though.

                            bekka- 12 hr shifts can be rough, hope you are taking plenty of snacks to help you through the day.

                            kiki-sound like you're doing great. congrats on the 7+lbs loss and good for you for staying off the scales if they were getting you down. please tell your DH that his service to our great country is greatly appreciated. he has a very honorable vocation. hope the next 10 days fly by for you and he has a safe return home.

                            2muchmike- hope you have a great walk and remember to take some water with you to keep you hydrated on such a hot day.

                              Hey Andie, good to see you again!!!

                              You guys, I have not been in ketosis for a whole 8 days now, I am wondering what your thoughts are?? I had a splurge (gyro and a couple of beers) on the weekend, and have been really good since Monday last week. I am eating only veggies and protein, but I have a couple cups of coffee with creamer and splenda in the morning. Have done that all along, except for the 2nd week on induction. I am also having a few sweeteners a day via diet rites or aquafina flavorsplashes. I know that these are no no's, but what do you guys think is the worst thing that I should cut back out?? I am showing no trace on the strips and that bothers me.

                              Or, should I see if I continue to lose this week and just keep doing what I am doing?? I did lose 2 pounds last week. I dunno if being in ketosis is that important or what? Anyway, thought I'd run it past you all. Of course I want the best results. Thanks!
