Bill...LOL...figures! Maybe cut a few of them as fries. You printed them all out?? Good thing I didn't send you all of them. You look prudy with black eyes!

I don't know where everyone is. Full moon out? We have never been this slow since we started.

Hi guys! How is everyone today? I just got back from the gym - did C25K Week 2, day 2 and some weights. I'm back into ketosis so I got to eat some muffins I made with almond flour. They were yummy. Hope everyone is having a great day.

Sounds yummy Vanessa. For some reason I wasn't thinking of things like almond flour when I think of the nut rung. Silly me. May have to try a recipe out. Thanks!!!

I don't trust my self around regular loose nuts so I'm sticking with baking. Its fun!

Hey all, I am still around. Kind of fell off plan for a couple of days, but thanks to Elsie checking on me, I am going to keep on. I am making a couple of adjustments, only 2 sweeteners, one fruit, no nuts. I have issues, lol, having trouble making time for ME, I have to work on that. I hope you all are doing well, I am still stuck with just the same 12-14 pounds lost in almost 7 weeks. I gave in and bought a size bigger uniform for work than I thought I would have to, totally sucks. Oh well, I am going to put a new goal in my siggy, to get into a size 12 in the next month, I am in a 14 now. It would be a nice way to start the fall semester. I hope you all are well.

Vanessa...you wouldn't fit in on this list if you weren't a regular loose nut!!! LOL! I don't add in foods just because I can either. I try to make decisions on what I would do for life. And sitting around eating nuts has never been something I do...okay...maybe at Christmas...LOL! But in general. Like I never really did many desserts before so I don't do them now...well...except for my ricotta treat!!

Val......so glad you are back. You haven't failed until you quit and I know you are no quitter!! Keep trying and tweaking until it works for you! Glad I helped!

Okay...very disappointing...and no I am not talking about the fact that no one took the time to mention the 3 pounds lost I posted about on Monday..though that is disappointing too...I am talking about the new brand of ricotta cheese I bought when in the States. Not the same texture at all!!! Tastes nothing like the stuff I bought here. Won't be using it as part of my treat..that much of a difference...need to find some lowcarb ricotta recipes. SIGH!!!

elsie, so sorry, i guess i've just been so wrapped up in my own thing, i didn't even really think. i did notice you said you lost the lbs, but just didn't think to congradulate you on it. you are doing so great, and way to go on the stairs too. don't over do it though, and be careful with no handrail. sorry about the ricotta cheese. i know it's disappointing when you buy something expecting it to taste like on thing and it doesn't.

i'm fixing the zucchini recipe that Elizellen posted in the induction recipe thread. it looked so good, i just had to try it. will let you all know what i think of it after our dinner a late one at that.(DH had to run to a buddies house)

also, i finished one of my challenges, and am very close on the others. i should be able to finish the majority of them, but i'm not sure i'll get the stability ball one complete.

well, i gotta go check on dinner, hope everyone is having a great day.

                  monie

Monie...no apology neccessary! I know everyone has been extra busy. Let me know how the recipe works out...I have more zucchini coming. I have new ricotta recipes to try now..so in a way that is good. Way to go on completeing one of your challenges!! You ROCK! Don't forget to update your challenges. Still only able to do 5 laps at a time. It will get better. May change to something else next week though. Thanks for challenging us!!

Re: Buddy List July 28 - Aug 3

just a quick update on my challenges......as i posted earlier i completed one last night(pushup challenge). i was able to complete another tonight(squat challenge). i am only 40 crunches away from completing the abs challenge for the month, and only 20 mins away from completing my SB challenge. should i be able to complete those tomorrow i will have actually finished them all for the month. nothing like taking it down to the wire, huh. i am thinking of only doing 2 challenges for next month, abs and pushups. well, and the 6 WEC that i'm still involved in.

just wanted to keep you all up to date........WOW!!!!! i think i'm gonna make it!!!!!!!

                      good night all,
                      monie

ps-oh yeah had to edit to add that the zucchini recipe was excellent!! i didn't know what spices Elizellen used, but i used cayenne pepper and garlic. YYYYYUUUUUMMMMMMYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!

f4n...Thanks...I can't wait until I can say I have lost 2 pounds like you! You are doing great.

Mike...1 day at a time...sometimes we are doing it minute by minute. If you find yourself in a tempting position try to get out of it until you have time to think. glad you are back!

Vanessa...Thanks...how were the muffins?? Mmm..some pureed strawberries with a bit of sweetner and there you sit on Atkis eating muffins and jam...if the masses only knew what was possible on Atkins.
