Re: Buddy List Aug 11 and onwards
hey everyone. happy thursday!!!! taking the day off from work today. had to leave early yesterday to go to the doctor. been having this pain in my back for a couple weeks, thought it was actually lung pains from bronchitis, but meds were not helping. yesterday at dr's appt. doctor seemed to think the pain is actually a pulled muscle. started me on a steroid, anti-inflamatory, and pain meds. took 2 doses of it yesterday and both times it pretty much knocked me out, so i figure i better stay home today to get a good days worth of meds in me so i can start the healing process. doc said i could start taking the meds just in the evening if i want so that i could still go to work. i will start doing that tomorrow.
jackie-i can so relate to your halloween candy mishap. we actually didn't have any trick or treat'ers this year, we haven't for many years, but every year DH buys this big ole bag of candy. i was just barely into my first week back on plan, and fell right into that bowl of candy and right off the wagon. i knew that i had to get back on quickly though, so only really gave in a few more times over that next weekend. now what's left is still sitting in the bag, and i'm gonna take it to work with me if i can ever remember to get it before i walk out the door. stress from work.....i know about that too, work been pretty stressful for me and all my co-workers as well. upper management is trying to run our facility on a skeleton crew and we are all getting tired and feel way too overworked. i can also relate to all the other feelings and emotions you are feeling. i too was getting those exact one's when i decided that it was time to get back to plan. i think alot of that for me comes from the fact that i know i worked so hard to get where i was, and just gave in too easily. i hope for you that you can get back on track soon. if at all possible, don't wait til monday, just make that next bite a legal one. if ya need to, make your goals bite by bite instead of day by day or week by week. just remember we are here for ya. you can lean on us anytime, and you are always an inspiration to us all.
gonna go lay down now....meds kicking in....check in again this evening if i can stay awake long enough.

And tell you that I did go back on plan Monday 11/3. I had one weak day last Saturday at a family party, but got back on the wagon the next day. I haven’t done any of the exercises yet, but have been battling Bursitis in my arm and massive hand pain. I hope to be back to exercising on Monday once I get off my fat A(*#&$($. I also took myself off the PILL because we think it’s a contributing factor of why I’m having such a tough time losing weight. Only problem is that I believe it was masking other problems, such as allowing me to have virtually pain free cycles. But, I also believe that it was helping with the condition of my hands, somehow masking or alleviating an arthritis type of pain. But, we’ll see, DH thinks it’s because I’m not exercising, and I have to believe where he’s been right 95% of the time with this whole new way of life, that he’s probably right again.

are full of it! LOL! Bill, nah nah nah nah nah. You can’t hurt them anymore. Indy is on to your mysterious kitchen water pistol, and Rusty has found a safe hiding spot. And if you ask me, I will never tell you where Fuzzy Wuzzy is because we wouldn’t want him to lose anymore of what’s left of his fuzz. Ha ha ha ha ha.
