We were in the Food Service industry for 20 years. We knew the food quality level was questionable ever since they (Subway) came to our town many years ago.

Nice concept, "come on in and watch us make your sandwich to order".

From a sanitation level they are great, they do little to prepare their products, most things come in pre-sliced, pre-shredded, etc. so there is very little opportunity for problems as long as their refridgeration works.

But-Their lunch meats were so far from being high quality it was laughable. Of course it tasted good to people because it was full of additives. I never knew it was as bad as this-beef is beef-season it a little, but what about the rest of this stuff---can you believe it!:

ROAST BEEF Roast beef, water, salt, dextrose, corn syrup, sodium phosphates, and spice extractive. Coated with: salt, dextrose, caramel color, pepper and garlic powder.

Chipotle Chicken salad double meat, cheese, sour cream and guacamole. It is so good I can eat the whole salad. Very very yummy.
