I just finished my third week of induction and about to start my fourth. I am 6'4 and weighed around 306-307 pounds when I began my induction. I am down to 299-298 and was expecting to lose more weight than I have.
For breakfast I eat an omelet 3 eggs, 2 ounces of cheese (cheddar or american) and around 4-6 peices of bacon. For lunch I will usually have cheese burgers, sausage, or chicken salad. For dinner i will always have my 3 cups of lettuce with chicken, steak or maybe fish or scallops.
I will add sour cream to my chicken salad, and I use a sugar free salad dressing with 1 carb per serving. I have also eaten cream cheese during my 3 weeks. Are any of these foods against the induction rules?
I was eating more than the recommended 4 ounces of cheese a day for the my first week of induction but have been consistent with eating only 20 grams of carbs and 4 ounces of cheese a day for the last 2 weeks.
I was expecting to lose more weight. I was curious if I have been doing anything wrong. I was curious when I would know i am in the induction phase, so I could begin to add nuts and miracle noodles to my diet.
I am just unsure if I have done my induction phase incorrectly and if i should continue with more strict eating habits. Basically I need help and would like to know when I could begin to add additional foods to my diet. Thanks
