    This is great assignment for today!

    #2 Over the weekend I sent 2 different PM's to people in need. I think what I've said to them is meaningful and supportive. I hope they take it that way too and hang in there.

    #1, I too am a Mod of celebration and I must admit, even I don't hit every congratulatory threads in there all the time. So, in a minute or two I'm off to both Celebration and Before/After!

        DAY 6 Monday
        This is the Put Things Into Practice Day

        1. Visit at least 5 different, recent threads in the Celebration! Forum AND 5 different, recent threads in the Before and After Pics Forum. Add your positive comment to each thread. I'm a familar face in these two forums, especially the celebration forum. I'll do a few extras if I can find one I didn't say something nice in.

        2. Visit a thread where someone is struggling with a cheat, not drinking enough water or some other kind of problem. Offer positive reinforcement to this member. If you have trouble searching for this kind of post, use the ADBB Search. Type in the word "cheat" or "problem" and see what you get. Make sure the thread you are answering to is recent. I sent another PM to someone that wants to quit a particular challenge. I haven't heard back from this person, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hope that she won't quit this WOE for good.

          I have been pretty good about posting in the Celebrations forum, but not good at all in the Before & After pictures. I'll do better in future, and did it today!

          I have been posting to a few who are struggling, hope it helps them. It helps me to stay on track by reinforcing what I'm doing. You know, the teacher learns from the student kind of thing.

          I like the affirmation and willingness to help from people on the board, it has really helped me stick with Atkins this time. Thanks to everybody!

                  Done! I hit up the celebration forum and before/after forum, and answered a few struggling posts. I have a habit of answering people I "know" so this was a good way for me to "meet" some newbies!

                    i think i'll be posting the assignment for tuesday pretty quick. it may take some of us a bit more time and it's a reflecting type of day. i want everyone to be able to get the work done and posted by wednesday morning cause thats when your hard work will be rewarded with your ribbons.

                          Jimmie, just when I thought you had run out of ideas.......

                          I was wrong! LOL! I loved this assignment. In a very positive way, you kind of forced me to do research on a lot of people. So today, I introduced myself to several people I had been reading about and also discovered some more amazing stories. The more I read, the more I am amazed at how wonderful and noble Atkins is.

                            elsy, if you knew the hours that i spend just trying to think up ideas for ya'll it would make your head spin! all for you, all to get you guys to goal!

                            well done on everyone's part. i'm happy that so many have done all the assignments so far. let me get tomorrows posted and then i have to go get some dinner fixed.

Tell how this WOE and the feeling of BEING WORTH IT, will help you take control of stay on track. Tell of any insights or AH HA! moments you might have had during the time of this challenge.

                              2. What positive changes are you looking forward to as you continue to make your journey doing Atkins?

                              As with the assignments use your journal and use this thread to post your answers. See, the journaling had a purpose.

                                hmm... this is a hard one as, as ya know, ive been pretty sick during the first week of this challenge, my ah ha moment was peoples wonderful comments about me in one of the days challenges, that meant so much to me - that i was actually paying it forward, paying forward what i have learned over the last couple of years in this forum and people are glad i'm doing it, so HEY! I guess I'M WORTH IT!! and THAT is a fantabulous feeling

                                2. What positive changes are you looking forward to as you continue to make you journey doing Atkins?

                                I am looking forward to the fact that i can now incorporate exercise into my WOE, i know this will make me lose quicker, inches if not pounds!! I cant wait to watch my body change, I cant wait to be at goal, im getting more and more excited every day. Even stalling, i still know i AM going to get there! I'm gonna get out on the boards more (is that possible?lol) and encourage everyone, as to be encouraged is something everyone needs.
