Because I want to change the way I feel about my body, I want to look and feel fabulous!...and I want to learn about the people in this forum and how they succeded...I want to learn from you guys!
· Why are you doing Atkins?
Because I have tried other diets and I usually get tired really quickly. Atkins has made me learn how to cook and Its changing my life for the better.
· What does the word “commitment” mean to you?
It means devotion but with a lot of reponsability....in order to reach a goal.
i hope you are like a sponge and just soak up so much that you breeze your way into a healthy you, both from the phyical side of things and the mental.
responsiblity is a very good word. and it starts with us, doesn't it?
3. Find a quote concerning commitment and share it in this thread.
Individual commitment to a group effort -- that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work.
by Vince Lombardi
4. Comment on the following quote:
“Commitment is what transforms the promise into reality. It is the words that speak boldly of your intentions and the actions which speak louder than
words. It is making the time when there is none. It means coming through time after time, year after year. Commitment is the stuff character is made of; the power to change the face of things. It is the daily triumph of integrity over skepticism”
I think this quote is so deep in meaning, I like the fact that it points that even with all the disadvantages in life..people can still great things just by putting that effort to work!
like not letting anything stand in the way of doing our best? i may not be able to do what you do, and you may not be able to do what becky does, but we can do what we can do, rights?
5. Make a list of synonyms for the word “commitment“. Put this list in your journal.
Leadership, obligation, willingness!
