      8/21 - 96oz.
      This has not been so bad. I have kept a paper on my fridge marked 6 - 1. Every time I finish one 16oz. glass of water, I cross off one of the numbers. I have been done by 8pm, so no nighttime wake ups for me.

            Better late than never! Polished off 121 ounces with 30 minutes to spare. Only had 24 ounces before noon -- not a good way to start the day.

            While I doubt anyone here needs to worry about drowning themselves from drinking water, I would suggest that you space your water out throughout the day -- I couldn't tell if aidinmom was suggesting that she was her entire day's allotment in one sitting. I can see where that might mess with your innards some!

              yep, it's best to get a good start and get it early. i had the same problem yesterday. seemed i got a late start for everything.

              i'll see if i can't post some kind of update so you'll know what days are missing and you can get the numbers posted. i'll take the weekend to make sure i've calculated all things correctly and awards will be handed out on monday. sooner if things get posted.

                    this is why i put a cap on the 128 oz. per day. your 108 oz commitment should be very doable and you should not be any danger of water intoxication.

                    suggestions would be:
                    start early
                    if you drink coffee, replace it with water
                    drink more with your meals instead of in between.
                    always keep you water bottle, glass, etc, within arms reach.
                    Thank you for the info. Please put me down for 120 oz yesterday (Thursday).

                    I am trying to switch to decaf coffee in the morning. I start with one glass of water and a prevacid as soon as I wake up. Then I have some coffee usually followed by breakfast about an hour or so later - with water. One day to go.

                        Sorry I was not near a computer last night to post. Yes, I did drink my 110 ounces of water. for August 21. Today I have already drank 40 ounces. So I am part way there.

                            Still doing fine - 2.5 litres (84 ozs) so far today (Friday), so reached my quota and then some!

                              I did it! I did it! I dont ever want to do it again! LOL I am going to go back to my 80 ounces of water a day. Of course once I get down to 160 pounds I will be all set for the next semi annual challenge. I dont think I will even eat dinner tonight..I drank so much.
