Bad news.. just got my cholesterol results from my last physical.. 5 years ago (last time they checked it) it was 147 total (wonderful).. this time it's 239 O.O
So now my doctor wants me to go on a low fat diet for 6 months and have it rechecked to see if it's diet related or genetic, so now I need to figure out if I wait and keep doing Atkin's (staying to mostly chicken as opposed to beef and pork) or switch to low fat like she wants me to do. It's hard not having had a chcek in so long, I have a feeling it was even worse before I started Atkin's (with all the fried foods and burgers I used to eat) and is still going down, but with the old numbers, I have no proof. So I geuss I have somethinking to do and may have to take leave of the Atkin's diet. >.< Sorry about the rant, and this is probably not where I should post it, but just a heads up I may have to bow out of the challenge.
