  • ~~Winter ONEderland Challenge(Dec.)~~~

    Thought we should start up a new monthly thread for our challenge!!! I have been slacking I need some new encouragement!!!!


    I have been majorly slacking!!!!!!! I am rededicating myself to this challenge!!!!!
    My new Winter Onederland challenge will be 190 by Christmas Morning.


    I will drink PLENTY of water
    I will take my supplements
    I will enter everything into fitday no matter how much of a pain I make it out to be!!!
    I will keep my calories below 1800. I will shoot for 12-1500.
    I will exercise at least 5 days per week. 3 of them being Si6!!!

    Is anyone else with me on this one??? Set your new goals!!!! We can do this!!!! Where is that energy we had at the beginning of this thread?????!!!!!!!

    Alright, a clean slate!! December will be our month to shine!!!

    Anyone out there lurking who wants to join, feel free!!!

    My first mini-goal will be to get to 192, hopefully some time this week. This will be my -70 pound mark!!

    Then I want to get down to 189.. I can't wait to get out of another "decade"!!!

    At some point in this month I want to fit into my old 14-16 clothing!! I have a closet full of really nice clothes in this size, which I've been saving for the past 5 years, and I want to wear them by christmas darnit!!

    My goal for christmas; still 185 and my new pair of size 16 pants!! They're getting closer to fitting every day!!

    Alright, December will rock!!

      OK, It is the start of December- a new month to do my best!!!!! I will take measurements again by the end of this week. I will drink water- and a lot of it! I won't slack on breakfast or exercise!!!!!!!! AND I WON'T CHEAT!!! especially at Christmas!!!!!!

      I will be taking my supplements at work today, I just got done with breakfast, 2 eggs and 1 slice canadian bacon. Yum. Plain but yummy.

      I need to get some more bottles of water...Then I will begin my water consumption for the day!
      Hope everyone has a great day and a great month!!!!

      Its almost Christmas and then new years!!! Lets do our best till then- we don't wanna have another one of those dreadful new years resolutions because we didn't do anything about it before then!!!!


      Deb- are you still gonna come in here with us? I knwo you are busy and all with your drill sargeant 2big! I am gonna do some of here things too I believe...

        Wow December is off to a great start; I was 193.5 this morning at 8am.. that means I made my November goal of losing 10 pounds last month. AWESOME!! That 2 hours of exercise yesterday really paid off!!!

          Mary- you rock!!!!! I am very jealous! I am getting my atkins papers out tonight and looking back over them. I think I may be at a stall and I have probably not been eating enough fats for this diet to work... It is much harder the second time around... I feel I may need to relook over the book and then re-evaluate my diet. I have also been tinkering with the idea of doing strict induction and then moving on to OWL... I don't know... I have been feeling kinda depressed and that doesn't help matters at all!!! I am sure things will look up in a few days!!! I need to exercise too and haven't done it today. I thin kI will take a rest day and resume tomorrow~!

            You know for some strange reason I was thinking earlier when reading your posts that moving into OWL might be a good idea for you. Not sure why!! I know that works for a lot of people who start feeling frustrated or start to stall.

            I ate a little bit more then usual today and haven't exercised yet. I'm okay with that though. As long as I don't eat anything again tonite. Tomorrow I will do better!! Some days I just need to eat a little bit more even though I know it means no weight loss for that day. In the long run, I think it helps me lose more then I would if I tried to be ultra-discliplined each and every day. Well, we'll see. I don't want to get complacent either though!

              Well, I have been rededicated, trying to eat less carbs, less veggies... I dunno- we will see what happens! I feel pretty good about what I ate today
              B: 2 eggs, 2 slices turkey bacon
              L: about 6 oz pulled pork
              S: 1oz cheese, 1oz summer sausage
              D: Lettuce1.5c , tomatoes with green chilis .25c , 2tbs sour cream, black olives(2oz) and about 5oz ground beef(96lean)
              Also, after work I was starving and had 2 hot dogs, that I shouldn't have had....
              The salad was phenominal!!! I have just about decided I am goign to keep taco meat preped so If I don't have anything to eat I can ahve a taco salad(instead of those nasty hot dogs!). I am also thinking I am goign to cook chicken breasts and cut them into strips to use for a few days. I am done eating for the night. I may have a jello cup, but that will be all!
              I have been pretty good with my water, need to drink some more still... I am working on it!
              DiD RIU today, supplements were taken too.

              I want to lose 10lbs sooooooo bad before Christmas!!!!!!

                I ended up eating about 600 calories more then I should have yesterday, darn it. It was because I was out shopping while I was hungry, so I grabbed one of those Atkins Advantage bars, even though I normally don't eat any "Frankenfoods".. well it just ended up raising my blood sugar and made me hungrier darnit!! Which is why I try to avoid them to begin with.. I ended up having one more omelette before the end of the night because I was so craving something. Let this be a lesson to all to stay away from that fake stuff!!! I didn't exercise yesterday either.

                Today I had a 2 egg omelette with cheese for breakfast and tuna/mayo//cheese for Lunch. I might have a small dinner before 7 pm, but once 7 pm hits I will stop eating!!!

                I also need to get my butt in gear and go exercise!! I'm waiting for my fiance to leave though. For some reason I hve a hard time exercising while he's home even though we're not talking or doing anything together. He'll be gone all night though, so no excuses. Tonite I shall exercise!!!

                I had a dog trainer come to the house to train my out of control siberian husky. It cracks me up to see him faced with disclipline. He looks so stressed out by the end of the session LOL! It's expensive, but it has been sooo worth it to so far to train him. Anyway that is all, take care!!

                  I don't know where they went!!!
                  I also don't like to exercise in front of my fiance! I just feel weird, I guess I don't wanna work out in front of anyone really! especially if they aren't exercising too! LOL
                  My calories were higher today but my percentages were
                  62-4-31. Do you remember what they are supposed to be? I need to look around. I am thinking that was pretty close though... I am curious to see if it jumpstarts my weight loss, I sure hope so!!!

                    Hey I didn't know you were engaged! I always saw you referring to him as your "boyfriend" before . Have you set a date yet?

                    I can't remember what the percentages were, i think they were 60 protein - 30 fat - 10 carbs. not sure though. How was your day today?

                    I ate about one meal more then I should have today again, past when I was full. I really wish I could find a way to stop doing that!! I keep losing and gaining the same pound over and over again this week, darnit!!

                      Yep, I have been engaged for almost 3 years now. We have no date set, and really aren't in a hurry to set one. We have been together almost 7 years! WOW, that is a long time! LOL- I gues it looked longer on paper than saying it out loud!

                      I don't know what my problem is. EVERYDAY for like the past week and a half or so I feel HUGE! I feel so bloated, even when I wake up! It is really driving me nuts! I am not sure what I am doing wrong, But I wanna have a skinny day! You know when you wake up and you just know you have lost weight!!!! Grrrrrr.... my eyes are very swollen today too and I don't know why! I need to take some allergy meds in case that is why they are swollen...
                      Well, I made bikergoddess' pizza last night so I could have it from breakfast some mornings, and well, it just didn't turn out like last time, I think I beat the eggs and stuff too much, I don't know. It seems so saltytoo! I guess anything would with that much cheese in it!

                      OK- so I need to really crack down on my water today and I AM going to exercise today if it kills me!!!!! I am printing off ADBB living right now so I can read it... sheesh, I have just been i n a funk lately, and am struggling to get out!!!!
                      I will check in later- hopefully feeling better by then and in a good mood!

                        Hi everyone. I finally dropped into onderland as you can see by my signature. I did try to sabotage myself though and cheated, but only one day, then was back on track. Took a couple of days to get my weight back down though. Just feels like the added stress of trying to get Christmas shopping done when we are already on a limited budget sent me over the top. Then we had a bad storm and I didn't have internet access for a few days so couldn't get on here and read how everybody was doing. But, the good thing is that in the past that one day cheat would have turned into going totally off plan and gaining all my weight back plus more. I must be learning somethings.

                          Glad to have you back Kimmy! Way to go on reaching onederland!!!! Glad to see you didn't stay on the cheat wagon long- way to jump back in and rock! I have felt like it would be so easy to cheat recently but I am sticking to my guns this time! I want this more than ever!

                            oh my, I didn't input everything into fitday because I ate so much I don't remember how much and exacrtly what. I know I ate so much FAT today........I will do better at being accountable...tomorrow, I will be perfect. I looked forDANDR today and couldn't find it, guess I will have to go to the bookstore tomorrow!
