    Hi Girls, Would you mind if another joined in with you? I am new to this board 10 days and would love to join in if it's not to late. A little about me I'm Chrissy, 36 y.o. and LOVE food way too much. I didn't weigh myself the day I started but a few days after and was 205. Today I am 200lb and would love to get down to 190 by Christmas.....that's my mini goal.

        Welcome Chrissy!!

        Ok, I did it I finally got off my butt and exercised. I did the WATP 2 mile tape, and I tried callanetics. I say TRIED--very, very, challenging. I am a very stiff person. It's funny cause my 15 year old daughter is on the high-kick dance team and is VERY flexible. I guess that came from her other set of genetics.

        Just wanted to check in. Have some major house cleaning to do. I work tonight, then am leaving for St. Paul tomorrow afternoon. My daughter has a sweet-16 party to go to. I taking all my kids plus 1 extra to my mom's. The gal who is turning 16 lives 2 houses down from my mom. So, I'll check back in on Monday.

          Hello,

          Is it possible I could join the December challenge??? I know we only have few weeks left, but I found I really need the challgenes to keep things fun and also keep me focused.

          My challenge for December is to lose 10 lbs by the end of the month. It would bring me down to 230 lbs.

            Welcome Crissy!!!!!

            I did fairly well today, just got done having some soup made with cauliflower, broth, onion, celery, heavy cream... all blended well... It was pretty yummy, I topped it with some cheese and crumbled bacon....

            Breakfast was a piece of quiche
            Lunch, bacon cheese burgers -bun from wendy's and a caesar side salad

            snacks were- jello cup, and string cheese, a few pepperonis... I feel like I ate a lot today , I need to go put my stuf into fitday and see if my percentages were good!

            Tomorrow is the big Day Mary!!! Are you ready?!!!!! I am not, I know I will be behind you still- I have some major catching up to do! However, I don't feel as bloated today as I have been feeling!!!! thats a good sign!

              Way to go on the exercise, Kimmykins, that totally rocks that you started your exercise program!!

              Rikki; You're probably a lot closer to me then you think you are. I'll be lucky with any loss tomorrow - I'm not expecting much. This week was about getting back control and so I didn't push myself as hard as I have been. I'm kind of nervous actually! Hopefully it won't be an "off" day either as I won't be able to re-weigh myself for a few days (going out of town again).. So I have my fingers crossed!! But I am determined not to let the number on the scale affect my mood. If it is higher then expected I will simply work harder this week.

                I am doubting it, I will be happy if i get back under 200! Its stressing me out!!!! maybe we shouldn't weigh but once a week anyway! I am excited to measure though, because I know my belt fits much looser now, I have to move up 2-3 notches! Yeay! OK, I need ot go to bed so I can get up early adn exercise!

                  Thursday:
                  B- cheeseburger 2 egg omelette (1 oz cheese, 2 oz hamburger)
                  L- 15 med. carribean jerk shrimp 1 cup of romaine 1/2 tbs ranch dressing
                  D- 5 oz. piece cod with 1 tsp. mayo and 1 oz bourson cheese, 1 cup steamed broccoli, tiny bit of butter /seasalt, 1 cup mixed baby spinach and romaine lettuce, 1/2 tbs. ranch dressing
                  120 oz water

                  Friday:
                  B- Broccoli and cheese omelette

                  Ok since you girls are weighing and measuring yourselves on fridays I will too. Well, scale says 200 still .......but I feel skinnier (lmao 200 pounder having a skinny day wooo hoo , just as long as I dont look in the mirror.) Yup I do believe I lost inches pants feel comfortable, not the normal can't breath cutting off cirrculation feeling.

                  Exercising 60 minutes a day.....No excuses!!!!!!!!!

                    Good Morning Chrissy- and everyone else here, well today is the big day, and I am back in the 100s. Yeay! However, I fudged and had a couple of drinks last night, so I hope it isn't all dehydration... we will see in a few days I guess! I did measure today too and I am sefinitely down in inches since last time I measured. Since last time I have lost another 6.75 inches, measuring by the 6wec chart! Yippeee!

                    Chrissy, I would STRONGLY suggest you measure yourself if you haven't already... It is great motivation when the scale stops moving but you still lose inches... or when the scale starts moving like a slug! Which is what mine is doing now!!!!!!

                    I am tired, I woke up and normally would have hit the snooze, but I knew I needed to weigh in and couldn't wait! haha, I need to go do RIU, I wanna hit the sack again!!!!arg... I may eat first and then worry about riu!


                    OK, Miss Mary- lets see you blow me away with your results! LOL- I think the added fats and not restricting my calories has helped me... I guess maybe I need to watch calories if I am not losing anymore, I dont' think it is going to help me lose any faster at this time... especially exercising this much.. I guess......... I am no expert thats for sure!!! Its all Trial and error!

                      Sorry to dissapoint you - I was only 194.2 today. So basically this week I lost the weight that I gained from ONE day of binge eating!!

                      Strange though, because I felt skinnier then that and think my clothes are fitting better. Oh well, that's what happens when you dont do any formal exercising all week!! Like Dr. Atkins said, exercise isn't optional!! Well like I said, I feel MUCH more in control of my cravings now and it was really nice taking a break from the mental anguish of weighing myself every day!! But I think I'll go back to getting on the scale every morning - as long as I don't get too obsessive it actually helps motivate me. When I see the scale hasn't gone down as much as I want it to, I usually work a little harder.

                      Well I have to go do my research thing at the school, and then I have to get ready for tonite. We are driving up to Santa Cruz to pick up my sister - 6 hours in the car, won't get much of a chance to exercise. Woke up too late to do it this morning! And then 6 hours in the car tomorrow driving back tomorrow, probably won't get a chance to do it tomorrow either darnit.. Okay Sunday I will resume my exercise full steam!!! No more excuses - I WILL exercise!!

                      If I don't have time to post before I leave - I hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

                        Friday:
                        B-broccoli and cheese omelet
                        L-Cod w/boursin cheese and 1/2 tsp mayo, cup of broccoli w/pat butter , cup of lettuce and baby spinach mixed
                        D-4 oz sirlion with a few mushrooms, 3/4 cup cukes, 1 oz cheddar

                        Sat.
                        B- ham and cheese omelet
                        D- BBQ pork rinds

                        Geeesh I was doing so good and I messed up today. I should of bought a small bag not a large one.........so guess what I ate over half the bag. I'm calling that lunch and not having anything till dinner.......YES I know not a healthy lunch. I bought two bags of pork rinds and when then suckers are gone I'm not buying anymore!

                        Other then that did an hour exercise yesterday then another hour shoveling off the deck and digging my cars out. I'm doing well drinking my water and with exercise........Damn pork rinds........they arent even that good either.

                          well, Mary- you are still beating me ... I was pretty good today, actually maybe not that good but I couldn't help it. I was sooo late for work and nothing to eat there so I ate a low carb bar, I know thats not great, but it could've been worse right? and I also had a few nuts. I am working on chugging some mroe water before I drink sodas or anything else, I am actually thinking of going to the liquor store tonight for some gifts(wine mostly) but it is about 30 minutes away, we live ina dry county!

                            Well I am back from Santa Cruz - I am exhausted!! We drove up on friday night the quickest route - took 5.5 hours wasn't bad.. Spent the night at my sister's place, got 4 hours of sleep and in the morning we went to the "Mystery Spot" in Santa Cruz where some weird magnetic stuff happens, like balls rolling uphill. It was weird but neat. She also showed me around santa cruz for a bit. Then we drove back down to Los Angeles - but we took the Pacific Coast Highway all the way. It was a BEAUTIFUL GORGEOUS drive, but it took 8 hours!!! So I am just unwinding before I can go sleep forever.

                            I will have to upload some pictures, it was so pretty, worth the 8 hour drive!!

                            I did okay - not great but okay. I survived on 2 atkins bars today - so dont' feel bad Rikki lol! Also on friday I ate an arby's low-carb wrap (though I only ate like half of the wrap).. but I only eat those type of things in emergencies like that where I have no other good alternative around me.

                            I know I won't have lost any weight - but I wasn't really planning to. This week though I had BETTER got back on plan and exercise my butt off!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                              Ohhh my Mary.....I'm so jealous your out there in beautiful Santa Cruz.....and I'm sitting in New hampshire with more snow then I know what to do with. uggggg Be gone winter !

                                wwo thats fantastic Chrissy- mary is weighing daily I believe, we were just doing that last week... I am sticking with fridays for a while for now, we'll see how it goes...
                                we just got back from the Titans game and shopping in nashville, a fun yet exhausting day!
