    I'm so excited to have everyone on board -- I think we'll close the challenge (for the mini-goal) on August 1, to honor the erasing of parts of our midsections by Labor Day.

              eGADS ... I haven't done anything since Friday. I went to Philly this weekend, and havne't done a THING... no crunches, no cardio, no push-ups. (I do pushups between my sets of crunches)

              *sigh* I'm going to walk around the Baltimore Orioles stadium w/one of my coworkers in a few (tha'ts 1 mile around) and going to the gym after work :nod

                Good morning all! Well it's check in wednesday, so I am checking in! I have been doing my treadmill everyday, and sometimes the elliptical trainer as well. I have been doing 80-110 crunches a day as well. I think I need to do more as my abs aren't sore any more. I gained 3 pounds but I am hoping it is muscle gain. I have been eating good and drinking all my water so I hope it's just muscle. So here are my new measurements for today.

                waist - 34
                abdomen - 37.5

                  Everyone post their respective stats... and I'll update our list and repost it this afternoon/evening.

                  I haven't lost any off my abdomen.... but i'm down another 1/2" off my waist!!! REJOICE!!! :icondance That's 35" now!!!!!

                      i measured on monday, but i think i was wrong, because it said i lost 2 inches for both! i don't think that's possible in just two days. so i'll just stick to these for my starting measurements. thanks!

                      i'm really annoyed because i've lost the most inches in my underneath-the-chest area and my thigs. of course, i'm not complaining or anything, and i can feel the muscles and stuff in my stomach, but it's still weird.

                      still doing 400 crunches a night and i walk for maybe 45 minutes a day, depending (i have to walk for ages to get to class, so that's helpful for my exercise every day)

                      tip for Lorgakor - maybe it would help to do more if you stop after every 10 or 20 (don't know what you do now, though). i stop after every 10 for a few seconds to give the muscles a chance to stop stinging. it helps a lot. plus, i've always heard to make sure you breathe deeply with every rep.

                          HELLO EVERONE AND WELCOME TO ALL THE NEW FOLKS!!!

                          I have no change to report this week! I had to go out of town and didn't get all my exercise in, but I'm jumping back into my routine tomorrow.

                            Thanks easytoplease! I like the pain of crunches, it feels good. Is that weird? It lets me know it's working. I always take a minute breather between sets because I'm not that good at it yet! It definitley helps. I tried pushups too and man I can feel that today! I didn't get my treadmill in yesterday cause I went shopping instead! Yay I didn't have to buy anything plus size! :joy

                                i know what you mean! i like how crunches really work my neck and sometimes even my arms and shoulders, depending on how into it i am.

                                i got called SKINNY yesterday!!! can you believe that?! i've never heard that word applied to me in my life! guess all those crunches i've been doing have been worth something!
