    I have 9 after TOM too! I gained 3 for tom this weekend (FANTASTIC, YAY!).

    jsj i use the measurements from mybodycomp.com - although the website has changed, somewhere in there is a body fat counter, and it will give you a report and save old ones. I'm doing one tomorrow to see how much i've lost myself.

      Clos3r2...ALL RIGHT!!! What that means is that you made your Valentine's Day goal!!!! WHOOP WHOOP!

      jsj.....you are doing great!!!! Keep drinking that water to help get rid of the bloat! I'm leaving you at 173.8 so you better keep drinking!!! LOL!

      killer....hang in there. I will leave your stats for now as it could just be water weight if you are sticking to plan. Don't worry if you don't make the goal...a lot of us aren't going to I think..myself included...I have 8 pounds to go. The important thing is that you don't use it as an excuse to eat off plan or give up. The fact that you are still here is what is making you a winner...not weather you reach that number you picked! Are you still here? Still trying? Less than when you started?? Then the challenge is working!! That goes for the rest of you too!!!

      knicknack...I won't change your stats either....challenge jsj to a water challenge and it will come back off!

        Well, this morning i'm officially where I was pre-TOM again. AND, I've lost 9 inches in 2 weeks. Not too shabby eh? woo!

              Hi Everyone!
              I am a little nervous to check in but figured I should. I apologize for being away and not being supportive for the last couple of weeks. You see I've been under immense stress. I was finishing a course, preparing for an interview and if things weren't already bad, I had to deal with a death in the family.
              I have completely neglected the eating habits that I had worked so hard to get into and I feel like such a failure. Everytime I ate something I wouldn't eat on Atkins I felt sick but kept doing it. I don't know why I felt the need to punish myself. It's been really hard to get back on track and I know it's because I wasn't particiapting on the forum which usually gives me so much incentive to keep going.
              Today I would like to start daily participation again and would like to continue this challenge. I hope that this is okay with everyone. I began induction yesterday, created an induction cookbook today and have started logging my efforts again. I can't believe I actually stayed on the treadmill for 25 mins today. That gives me some hope.
              I look forward to getting to know you all better and doing well on this challenge through motivation.

              My MINI Goal










              My Goal is to weigh 125 lbs! 20 lbs to Go
              Don't put off for tomorrow what you can do today.
              SW-January 9/08-156lbs
              Started Induction-January 28/08 @ 150lbs ***Ended Induction @ 147lbs. A 3lb lost!

                jsj - yep! I had entered in a report a couple of weeks ago, and reentered today. I also doubled the leg/arm amounts to calculate what I'd lost on all extremeties instead of just the right ones. ;-p

                okay, so water challenge it is. I'm going to go out and buy a 1.5 liter bottle, which i shall drink with gusto. That on top of the 2 big glasses i've already drank should be pretty good, i'd say!

                  I am very sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is, and everything else seems unimportant. My uncle passed away this past fall, and I fell off too.

                  Congratulations on getting back on, exercising, and rededicating yourself! That is so wonderful! You should be very proud of yourself.

                  Just try to put the past weeks behind you. All you have is the present and the future, and you're doing great!

                    Welcome back Flabtogo...I am so sorry to hear about the hard times you have been going through. Now you know that eating for comfort is not going to work for you like it did in the past. You were probably looking for that comfort feeling you used to get from that food before you knew about how well Atkins works. Now you know you will get that comfort feeling from choosing wiser. It is a lesson learned so all is not bad news. It is only bad if you don't get the lesson from it. Sounds like you did though. Feel free to post your menus/exercise/water if you like..whatever you need to do to be accountable! You can do this!

                      Okay guys, so I took my 2 week measurements, and I am so excited, I can't even begin to explain! I have lost 30 inches!!!!!!!

                      Starting *1/10*
                      calf x's 2: 16 1/2
                      thigh x's 2: 27 1/4
                      butt: 45
                      hips: 43 3/4
                      fullest part of waist: 42 3/4 (had a c-section so I measure to see if the skin tightens )
                      abs: 33 1/4
                      ribs: 33
                      bust: 42 1/2
                      underarms: 40!! EEKK
                      bicep x's 2: 14


                      My NEW measure ments are:

                      **2 Weeks 1/25**
                      Calf x's 2: 9

                      thigh x's 2: 24 1/2!! ......5 inches lost there!!!

                      butt: 43......2 in. lost

                      hips: 43....3/4 in. lost

                      fullest part of waist: 41 1/4..............2 1/2 in lost there!

                      abs: 32 1/2... 3/4 in lost

                      ribs: 32.......1 in lost

                      bust: 39..........3 1/2 in lost!!!!!!!!!

                      underarm: 34 1/2..........5 1/2 inches lost!! YIPPIE!! Bye Bye Back Fat!!!

                      Bicep x's 2: 11.........6 inches lost!!!!

                      I cannot believe this!!! I was carrying around soooo much water it is rediculous!!! I HAD to brag, I just had to!!

                          Thanks!! I was freakin out when I finish counting. I don't know how I got so lucky to loose so much on my thighs, bust, and underarms, but I'll take it!

                          I tend to lose up top first and then the bottom...so the thighs were a COMPLETE suprise!
                          My shirts fit a lot better, and so do my jeans. I was wearing a TIGHT 13 w/ having to tuck my fat into them and they were still bulging! Now they fit perfect!! I Can't WAIT to get back into my 11's....I have one pair that are cut really small and sem more like a 9 b/c of how low they are, so I know I'll have made real progress once I get into those!!!

                          Thanks so much for letting me brag! LOL

                          (((((Knicknack))))), How'd you do w/ t he challabge yesterday? I completely bombed it. Wanna today??? I bought a Gallon of water at the store and I am ready to go!!!!

                                jsj, you're on: water it is! I didn't end up buying a big thing of water, but I did have a liter bottle that I drank as well as a whole lotta glasses of water.

                                I'll do strict induction til valentines day myself, except for superbowl sunday. I AM having a (low carb, of course) beer that day, diet or no diet.
