(((((Knicknack!!!))))) You can do it!!! With that attitude, you can do ANYTHING! Congrats on the loss!!! Keep up the great work!!

ps, If you're having doubts that you'll loose that much, remember that as long as you give it your all, and you are dedicated, you still made it. It's not always the # on the scale, but the determination and perserverance in your heart that makes you a fighter, and a winner.

YOU ROCK!!!! Have a superdy dupperdy low carb day!!!

For those of you who do crunches everyday, does that help with your lower abs? I've drank 96 ozs so far!!!

thanks jsj, those are some wonderful words. It IS a good thing to remember that as long as you try your hardest that that's what is most important. Good point, very very very good point.

New_Me--crunches *do* help some with the lower abs, but there are some better exercises you can do to just target those.

Try laying flat on the ground with your arms flat on the ground just underneath your butt. Lift your legs together about two foot off the ground, and then lower them again. You'll definetely notice a difference doing this one!

              (((knicknack))) No biggie!

((((New Me)))) Great job with that water!! I'm right behind ya girl!! For me, the crunches work the whole stomach...mainly the middle to upper, but killer is right, their are better ones for the lower abs. I do something similiar but WARNING IT HURTS!!!!! Worse than a carb biting you in the butt!! I lay down flat, feet sholder width apart, hands either at your side or under your butt..and lift you feet until your heels are about 6 inches off the ground. HOLD THEM....1...2....3.....4....don't give up...5...6....7...I know IT'S AGONY.8...9...10. I try to repeat this 10 times. It hurts, it burns, and it will hurt worse tomorrow, but by day 3 or 4, it get's a lot better.

              I had a c-section, and it's a LIFE SAVER!!!

Just a quick question for everyone....

Do you guys drink any Diet soda?? I never have on this WOE, but I didn't know if it is a treat, once a week, and it's legal, would it stall me???? Anyone have any info..post please?? I don't know why but even AFTER my water, I crave a diet coke...w/ splenda

Stacilynn, just out of curiousity, what kind of exercise are you doing? 60 pounds since Sept 05. That is just awesome! Have you exercised since you started this WOE?

jsj--I don't drink diet soda (I hate things with carbonation), however, if you're going to drink it what I hear is go with Diet Rite because it's sweetened with Splenda. Whether Splenda or other sweeteners stall you is a person by person thing. For example, sugar alcohols have never made me sick or stalled me, but I think I'm lucky!

New_Me...awesome job on the treadmill and the lunges. What a great habit to get into in the morning! WOW...that exercise is sure paying off...congrats on the 4 pounds down!

Tania...weigh to go on the 2 pounds. And also for not letting the fact that your sister/exercise partner was sick as an excuse for you not to do your exercise. You are a going to be so successful!

jsj...you are doing so great losing another 1.4!!! I also love to cook ahead. Makes things so much easier! I hope your eye is doing better. And yes..I think you are a ray of sunshine!!! Your comment to knicknack was right on the money and I hope its message reached everyone because you are right...it doesn't matter if you make the goal or not as long as you are determined and still trying...that is what really counts. I started drinking diet pepsi at Christmas...with aspartame...I haven't found Diet Rite here in Canada and it didn't stall me. BUT because I had it in the house I was choosing to drink it instead of my water. I will drink it when we go to the movie or out for dinner...but I won't have it back in the house now that it is gone. It is definately YMMV kind of thing. Might or might not work for you. Might set off cravings. Might not.

knicknack....another .5! How exciting...keep up the great work!

Analog6...do you have a goal or stats that you want me to enter on the chart. Congrats on the weight lose!

Stacilynn...2 pounds gone...sneaking up on Onderland! It is good to be you! Keep it up! 60 pounds lost is great!!! I am soooo happy for you!

Spikette...what will power not to step on that scale!! With that kind of dedication you will do great!

We have lost a total of 65.1 pounds!! AMAZING!
