(((((TJ))))) That is awesome! Great Job on the 3 lbs, and the 23 inches!! More importantly, congrats for staying true to your goal. Exercising isn't as easy as it seems. Great Job!!

(((((Gabs))))) Good, I'm so glad. I was afraid you guys would be like, "WHAT?? Short challanges, this chick is NUTS!" *LOL* I see your 650/600 minutes for January!! Great Job!

Hi everyone. I cheated this morning, but not with eating! I weighed myself ( I wanted to limit it to once a week on a sunday or monday) but I could'nt help it. I'm down 2 more pounds!!!! I am so happy!

Congrats Nemo! you did great with getting to goal. I hope I can make it.

Another challenge for March would be great. My B-Day is March 9th and i set my own personal goal to be at 145. So it depends how much I lose to V-day to see how much I have to lose between than and my birthday.

        Hi all you beautiful losers,

I have not weighed myself today, but will check in tomorrow. Doing well on all my commitments – drinking 10 glasses of water a day, exercising at least 45 – 60 minutes a day and still on induction.

I’ve got to go see the Gyne tomorrow for that dreaded yearly appointment. Hope I survive, but I also hope he will notice the weight loss. Last time he saw me was 6 weeks after my son’s birth. But will tell you tomorrow.

(((Littlenemo))) congrats on reaching you V-Day goal. You go girl!!! Whish it was me!!

(((Elsie150))) I have an elliptical trainer too … I just love it!! I have an exercise bike as well, but after I bought the elliptical, the bike is just a big coat hanger – LOL. Personally I think that this is the best machine to buy. When I bought mine, the sales person told me that it actually combines the stepper, treadmill and bicycle. So there you have it …. a 3-in-1.

(((Gabs275))) Thanks for that cheesecake recipe. My sister and her family are coming over for a braai (Afrikaans for BBQ) tonight and I am going to try this for desert.

OK, this is me signing off. Will check in again tomorrow.

Hope you all have a low-carb whooshy day!

(((((Tania))))) It's great to see you! What kind of elliptical is it? I mean like the brand.

(((((Shelly))))) Great Job on the loss!!!! I weigh everyday, so no worries! Just don't let the number get you down!

Well, I got on the scale this morning, and....171.6!!! That's 1.6 over night! FINALLY the scale is moving again. It was driving me nuts. I'm not diving up, but it was frustrating! Okay, so I did the spit test this morning. I don't know why, but I did and whadda know? Yep, I got something going on. I'm gonna pop into that forum and ask them what they think. I have no idea. I read in the book, but stil it's easier to talk to people dealing right now, ya know?

Well, it's official, taxes will be deposited thursday/friday at midnight, which means...ELLIPTICAL HERE I COME!!! I am so excited!!

          Okay, gotta run.

first thing in the morning, before you drink anything, spit into a glass of water. Watch it over the course of 1 hr, checking every 15 minutes, and if it does downwards, like legs, you have candida, I think. It can also completely go to the bottom, and it's the same thing. Mine did it instantly!!! YIKES!

                Hi folks!

i would LOVE to be at goal by april 22, but I can't really see it happening. You never know though. I'm sort of falling on and off the super strict wagon (although staying on the wagon at least!). I had a whole lot of nuts last night, for example. But, I don't do that very often so hopefully it won't affect too much. I guess 18 pounds in 2.75 months is doable, maybe.

I did join the gym finally, although I haven't gone yet - I mismanaged my time yesterday and today I have tennis. Tomorrow though! So that should help a lot I think!

Tennis is not bad knicknack, if that's all you were able to do today. At least you're moving and not sitting on the couch eating potato chips, right? I worked out today for 60 minutes. I joined a new workout class where they teach you to dance hip hop. It was so much fun! I have two left feet so the exercise was fun and I was able to get a good workout at the same time. Tomorrow is Salsa night. I'm scared, but it's probably going to be just as fun! Can't wait. Well, I hope everyone did great today. I did good on food, not so great on water...but there's always tomorrow.

I can't remember, but which of you was the cruches girl? Was that you JSJ? If so, how's that going? Are you still doing them? I want to hear a yes!!!

Oh, I almost forgot, great job on the loss this week Teejay. Keep up the good work, only 2 weeks to go!!!!

I'm so bloated for this Candida, that I can't notice the difference, but I know it's there..I'll see it soon enough.

I'm back....Internet and mail was down yesterday..plus both kids home sick for 2 days. Had to go back pages and pages to get caught up with you people!!

Flab...word of warning about the cheese cake. During induction you are limited on your splenda intake to ...I think..3 servings. Little things like that may make a difference in the weight lose.

Gabs..the cheese cake sounds wonderful! I think I will stay away from it. Still don't trust myself on having control with desserts of any kind so I just don't eat them. The closest I get is the Mock Danish...love that and at least it is made in portion control size..LOL. HipHop exercise sounds like fun!

LittleNemo! How exciting for you!!! Congratulations on making your goal and making it early. Keep up the good work and keep posting and see how far below your goal you can get. I will post it. You are actually 1 pound below goal as I have you down as 185.5 for you goal! Great work!

cLOS3R2mYdR3AMS...LittleNemo has a graphic you could add onto your sig for getting to your goal...you would just copy and paste it. If it is okay with her???

jsj...congrats on the .6 pounds!!! Isn't it nice when you final break a barrier. You will see my name a lot sometimes under active. I usually keep a window open and go about my day. Hmmm....maybe that is why I don't always get informed that there is action on here. Might have to start closing it. I like the shorter ones I think. The last one we were in together was a bit long and a lot of people kind of faded away (not in the good way). So shorter ones keep us motivated and checking in more in my opinion. HeeHee...we didn't say you weren't nuts...just that we liked the short challenges..LOL! Congrats on the other 1.6. I always have to get my calculator to do your stats..LOL! What is the spit test? EWW...really? I never heard of it? How do you know the difference between spit that goes to the bottom has yeast and just plain old gravity??

Shelly30..that is an acceptable cheat! Weigh to go! You only have 2 more pounds to go!

Tania...you are doing awesome. Way to go on the exercising!!! I have a stepper that was a clothes hanger. Now it is sitting outside. Never really used it.

knicknack...weigh to go on the 1 pound. It doesn't matter if you don't make the goal. You will still be less than when you started and that is what is really important. Besides..you will be in good company...ME....LOLOL! Or you might be a whoosie! I am wondering about you trying to get to goal in 2 1/2 months. Shouldn't it be slower if you are doing it by the book...the last 5-10 pounds are supposed to come of slow. And have you thought about climbing the rungs. So you know what your carb and food limitations are before you get to goal?? Just asking.

jsj & Gabs...I think it was both of you. Go to the corner and think about it.

teejay....you are doing great!!! You can do it for another 2 weeks. Just remember the awesome results you have had the last 2. Post your weight lost at the end so I can add it to our total if you don't mind. You will make your goal!

Stacilynn...oh you are so close girl!! Isn't it exciting!! Keep up the great work! Congrats on the 5 pounds gone!

                        Okay...all caught up...for now!

We have lost a total of 112.8 pounds!
