Yea, I figured I could change it in case I lost lots of pounds between now and then.

I wanted to wait, to be honest, but their were a few people trying to join the march-may challenge from last year !!! I told them to come over here, but this one is almost over, so I figure it would give them a place to go and stay motivated. Thanks for popping in over there. Now I don't look like a schmuck and having a challenge by myself. I do have friends, I SWEAR!!!

      LOL

Ahh I took my NASTY apple cider vinegar, my oil of oregano, and garlic and probiotic..AND I'm eating no cheese mushrooms or processed or canned foods. I see some call it the KISS diet, and some call it the Gold Standard Diet. I call it kill these nasty yeasy SOB's, before I go crazy. I know, I need anger management!

          Hi folks!

          137.5 today!!! yay!

Seems like a lot of people are breaking through to new weights, congrats to everyone!

Elsie, generally when I'm on maintenance I can eat pretty much whatever I want as long as I mostly keep it maintenance friendly. But having the occasional french fries with my burger doesn't really hurt me or send me into a tailspin or anything. I suppose I ought to give it a bit more thought than that though. ;-P I do need to learn how to cook with whole grains and stuff, in the past I haven't been able to stop losing weight when I get to 120 which is why I end up eating things like french fries. I maintained 120 for 2 years though (usually hitting about 125 in the winter) and didn't gain weight until my battle of the medicines this march (and again in november). I'd *like* to think that I would have maintained even longer if it hadn't been for that!

I think I'm going to make a more realistic goal of 128 for april 22 though. I'll be really happy if I make that, and even happier if I make 120. It will probably be complicated by the fact that I want to start exercising really hard, which will make me actually gain a bit of muscle. that's okay though, I need it! hehe.

Anyway, do i hear that there is a new challenge somewhere?

                        Hi everybody,

So, I weighed myself this morning …. nothing, zero, …. still the same, no loss here!! I am now starting to wonder if I will ever make my goal of loosing 10 pounds before V-day. 6 Pounds to go …. I don’t think so!!! But, I am going to try my best.

My sister and I are running (actually walking) a 5km fun run/walk tomorrow. We’ve been training real hard for this, so I hope it will go well. Ya, I can hear you all laughing – we’re probably the only the people that have to train for a fun run. But at least it is a start. Watch us next year ….

I’ve had severe problems with my hernia since Wednesday. It felt like I was having a heart attack. But a few stretches last night and I must say that it feels much better today.

jsj – sorry for only replying to your post now. Here in SA we only have to brands (that I know off). We have the Trojan Elliptical and then the Orbitrek Elliptical. I’ve bought the Trojan because it looks more durable. The Orbitrek was a little flimsy. The Trojan had both fixed and moving arms, where the Orbitrek only had 1 set of arms and when you want them fixed, you had to get off, take them out etc, etc, etc. The other thing is that the Trojan worked with magnets and the Orbitrek with a resistance belt. So, that was why I chose the Trojan. Did you get your Elliptical today??

Elsie – NO, I cannot through my bicycle out …. Where will my clothes go?? LOL Serious now, I’ve actually done a good deed and gave it to my mother-in-law ... let her butt feel the crunch on that small seat LOL

I’ve got to run. Baby wants his food. Will chat later.

Hope you all have a low-carb whooshy weekend.

Hi Everyone....back from boot camp and still doing ok. I've been pretty good...I say that because I've had too much legal food at times and over the past 3 days too much cold cuts...was at a 3 day meeting/training session and that's what they had for our lunches.

I will weigh on Sunday to see where I am...I feel good but have no idea if I lost or gained...

Hope everyone has a great day!

I don't know if ya noticed, but th March-May Challenge is from last year...the one cleo started? I just wanted to let you know. We are doing a continuation of this one at the First Day of Spring Challenge, and you are always more than welcome to join us

Okay so I weighed today and I'm still 170.6. That's okay, better than going up!! Maybe tomorrow after I work out a bit on my elliptical

Today is day 2 of taking the probiotics, garlic, oil of oregano, and ACV...I HATE the OoO and the ACV, but what can ya do? Hopefully I'll have a nice WOOSHHH shortly here after taking all these nasty things.

                            Well, that's enough outta me

Good morning jsj you little ray of sunshine you!! Hey...wasn't there something in that anit-yeast challenge about taking garlic with probotics??

Atta girl Shelly30...water is a huge factor!

Tania...my SIL and her Mom train for the Sun Fun Run here. So you are not the only ones! Best of luck tomorrow...check in and let us know how you did. You might not make your goal...but you will be LESS than when you started this challenge so still a winner in my book! And it ain't over til it's over.

Hi Spikette...Looking forward to sunday for you. Drink your water...it will help with all the sodium in the meats. Good for you for finding the most acceptable thing to eat there instead of using it as an excuse to go off plan. Be proud of you!

I'm with Tania...I don't think I will make my goal either but I am going to get as close as I can too it. So close it will hurt that I didn't make it...LOL! I like the fact that this challenge was on the short side there was no time to slack off. I had to walk the talk the whole time. The only bad thing is that when you have a week or two of not losing then it makes it darn near impossible to catch up. Last month was my slowest month to day losing about 3.5 pounds. So that sucked...but I'm in for the long haul so all in all it doesn't matter as long as I am losing something....

Be a good day and drink some water!!
