    TADO:

    Working in the dining room today

    Wash walls.
    wash lamp.
    wash sliding glass doors.
    Clear table.
    Move in new china cabinet.
    Wipe it down.
    Clean/sort through 7 drawers in the old china cabinet.

    We have to go to town today grocery shopping. So will be interesting to see what we get done. DH is still into it though. He has an easy day though in the dining room. He can wash down everything and I get to tackle the table and the drawers. YIKES!

      Way to go Elsie!! I haven't been as thorough as you gals have been but am seeing a BIG difference. So far, I've been able to keep up with the dishes (lots easier now that it's just me and my daughter), I've been doing the 2 minute hot spot every evening for the last 3 and also accomplishing a load of laundry a day (the last couple days I've done 2) and the 1 hour house blessing and the place looks pretty great! I accomplished the 15 min dejunking of my bathroom but was only able to get through 2 drawers - not the cabinet . Next time, I suppose. I'm sure I'll eventually get it during one of my hot spot treatments.

        Slim..isn't it exciting to see such a difference! Some of my rooms are looking mighty good! Some still have a long way to go. Don't worry about not getting some of the stuff..you are exactly right...the next time the zone comes around you will get it!

        The only reason I am seeing such amazing progress is DH is helping and we are spending hours in each section. The next time I am in those zones I will try to concentrate on parting with more stuff.

        I am impressed you got the 1 hour blessing done! I haven't accomplised that yet. But before I go to bed I do go through the rooms we did and make sure everything is still in order. I like your 2 minute hotspot cleaning too! I usually put a load of laundry on at night before bed and then put it in the dryer after the kids go to school. I never put another load in to be washed unless all the clothes are put away from the dryer.

        I think I missed the zone mission for tomorrow. Yahoo has been bouncing me like crazy for over a week now! :^(

            Went to town today. The day went fast. DH not into doing anything but I still did some. It all looks good. So I will get it all washed next time around. I am still happy!

                Well...didn't have any TADO's today. A busy day.

                But my TADA's were
                cleaned out DS's dresser and moved upstairs by the door and have an ad on freecycle for it.
                Moved big dresser down and reloaded DS's clothes.
                Vacuumed whole upstairs.
                Kept things fairly tidy.

                  Sorry, the zone mission was to spend 15 min. in the laundry room wiping down wash/dryer and getting rid of junk piled there and excess hangers.

                  I'll do this tomorrow as I have been sick all day and feel awful.

                      Well, you had to know that this mission was coming!

                      It is time to clear off the flat surfaces in the bathroom. This
                      means the edge of the tub, the counter tops and the back of the
                      toilets. We have a tendency to let things pile up on these areas and
                      usually it is just clutter. Toss what you can toss and put away the
                      rest! Those shampoo bottles, hair scrunchies and cosmetics. You
                      know the stuff that I am speaking of! Have fun with this!

                        Dear Friends:

                        As we are headed in to cold and flu season I want you to take 15
                        minutes to wipe down your door knobs, light switches and phones in
                        your home. As many of them as you can accomplish in 15 minutes. If
                        you need more time, take a break and go back for another 15. Use
                        plain rubbing alcohol on a rag or something that is anti-bacterial to
                        get rid of all of the germs and handprints that have built up. Also,
                        when wiping down the phone make sure you wipe down the mouthpiece as
                        well.

                        Don't obsess and have fun with this.

                          Check Your Control Journal Every Morning and Evening

                          One of the many reminders that we send out has to do with our laundry;
                          when you include laundry in your morning and evening routine this makes
                          getting up and getting dressed much easier. Laundry doesn't take long to
                          do when we don't procrastinate about one of the five steps: Sort, wash,
                          dry, fold and put away. It only takes a few short minutes. When you
                          include laundry in your routines everyone is blessed. Nothing says I love
                          you more than clean underwear!

                          Zone Mission
                          Dear Friends:

                          Today you get to grab those old toothbrushes and start scrubbing!
                          LOL! OK seriously! Grab the toothbrushes and scrub those bathroom
                          faucets. You will not believe the gunk that manages to gather in
                          that area. Use a general purpose cleaner or some soap and go to
                          town! Have fun! This is a quick mission that takes less then 5
                          minutes.

                            Okay...I haven't been fitting much else in except keeping the sink clean and tiding in the kitchen and quick room rescues of the rooms I already have done. But I am still here and still trying.

                                Last weekend I went through a lot of boxes in the basement and got rid of a lot of stuff. This weekend I'm going to continue with the rest. It feels so good getting rid of stuff. At first it was hard but now that I'm getting into it, it feels good.
