  • END OF SUMMER CHALLENGE

    I am starting a challenge(thanks mys) for those of us who want to set a mini goal by the end of August

    JUst need your current weight, how much you want to lose and your weigh in day

    mine would be as follows

    Pokey CW 166 ish 15 pounds and weigh day is sunday


    so c'mon everyone!!! lets give this xmas challenge a much needed jump start with this end of summer challenge..

    Right On Pokey!
    Ok, I am half way through and weight is only comming off around 1 pound a week, so that is 6 weeks to go. I will shoot high (for me) 10 pounds.

    So,
    Current weight 178
    goal weight to lost 10 lbs to 168
    My weigh day for this one will be Monday (so I don't mess up on the weekends!)

    Ok, this is gonna help keep me motivated! Woooooooo Hooooo! Thanks Pokey!

      Hi..

      I just started yesterday.. I would like to be a part of this. I feel like crap right now, but I know I am gonna make it.. I don't know whether or not to call this a competition, or a little bit of peer pressure, but I work well under either circumstance. Maybe this will help me..

          Hiya PokeyM Count me in. I will try for 7 pounds by August 31. I will in St. Vincent from the 1st to the 16th of August and that is BIG trouble as my in-laws love rice and roti and dhal (pureed beans/peas). It's going to be rough. Sigh.

          I'll weigh in on Monday so I'll have to behave on the week-end!! I'll start this Monday as I hope to see the 157 again. It has of course slipped me like it did not even exist!!! :raving

            Ok.... I need all the help I can get so I'm all for another challenge.

            My current weight is 160 and I will shoot for 10 lbs (hopefully more) by the end of summer!!!

            My weigh in day is Wednesday!

                  PokeyM and other EOS challengers - Here's what I've been up to these last two days:

                  My meals have been a mixture of real food below 20g a day. I have included two foods not normally allowed on induction. I do have a cup of real brewed coffee, (I truly gag on the decaf stuff) and some nuts and seeds. The nuts help me along and actually prevent me from cheating and coming from the land of the best coffee, well nothing else will do!!

                  Yesterday I managed to have an omelette, chicken, pork chops and veg. Made some vanilla coffee for a change with some splenda.

                  I bought the Ultimate Low-Carb Diet Cookbook by Donna Pliner Roditzky and I am hoping to try some of the recipes out this week-end. If it turns out I'll let you all know.

                  My day ended on a very cultural note. I went to see the Chinese Puppet theatre. It was fantastic. The Chinese in Jamaica are celebrating 150 years in the island so there are loads of events planned.

                            ok so i have to restart induction tomorrow but I am not eating fats.. gonna try low fats no carbs and see what happens, btw at the drs i weighed in at 164.. that is AWESOME!!!
