    Re: Easter challenge?

Welcome to the challange Jo Millerm, ElMark, and ruri!

I have a question, how do you get the bunny in your sig? I am new to adding that type of info to my sig.

Have a really bad headache today (woke up at 5:30 with it), so opted out of getting on the treadmill, I feel bad about it. I guess that is a good sign. Never felt bad about skipping exercise before!

Hope everyone is doing good with their goals today!

          Re: Easter challenge?

Just checking in to say I'm doing well these past few days and hope to see the scale going back down very soon. We've all been so busy here that there's very little time to be tempted by things we shouldn't be eating. That can work the other way though - as in the half a muffin I ate on the run and it wasn't even that good! I'm the queen of rotisserie chickens and am trying to keep one in the frig at all times. No excuses then when I'm hungry and have no time..........
          Be strong!

Thanks for those instructions Ruri! We'll see if it shows up in my sig...
Next week I will make a point to get to the doc's office for a weigh-in. I SO MUCH WANT it to go DOWN! I have a bit more freedom today than I usually do I'm off to the gym to see if I can't burn a calorie. Or two!

I put on my Jeans and they were lose today! Not my pre-preg, cannot even get them buttoned; however, I am so excited not to have jeans that feel like I am being turtured! It feels so good!

LOL! That is so funny because I realized that I need to add a new hole for my belt...otherwise next week my pants will fall off!!!! I remember when I started atkins that my belt was almost too small!!!!!

                        Re: Easter challenge?

Lost that is great! It really helps in the motivation to not cheat and do well!
I went to Disney in November and bought these 'stretch jeans' so that I had room. On Christmas, I had them on and they were so tight I was misserable! All I wanted to do was get home so I could remove them! The next day I started my diet - not Atkins (dumb I know), but I am on the right track now!
Hope your day is going better!

Hi Nemo! Welcome! Just realized I skipped a page and missed your post.

                            Re: Easter challenge?

Everyone is doing so well - it's a continual motivation for me, thank you! I burned 400 calories on the elliptical trainer yesterday. No time to go there today but I'm eating on plan and getting in as much walking as I can. I think I'd like to find an exercise challenge - something I can do at home that won't hurt my crooked bones and deteriorated joints.

                                Re: Easter challenge?

My dh took me out to dinner last night - to Fogo de Chao is DC. I COULD have kept to the Atkins plans but did not so I will have to get my backside up to the gym today and burn off the 1 full cup of mashed potatoes I ate with my dinner BUT ... what a place! It is a lo-carber's dream. The salad bar is the best I've ever seen and the grilled meats are wonderful. You can have a look at www.fogodechao.com. If you have a chance to go, don't hesitate!

Today's plan, to get back on track, is to nix the coffee, drink more water than ever, drop the carb count to less than 20, and spend at least 30 minutes on the elliptical trainer at the gym. And crunches. I joined the AB Challenge for March and need to "practice"!
