    I am 126oz towards my goal of 150oz of water for the day. I'll be able to do the last 24oz with dinner tonight.
    I have actually been keeping my food journal today!
    And to top it all off I managed 10 minutes on the eliptical trainer!!
    All in all a pretty good day.

      Whew,

      Ok..so I started back at Fitday today...Drank all my water (200 oz's). Stayed within my portions and actually came in at 18 carbs for the day...and what happens? I am so energized I can't sleep. :yikes
      I just did a second go around on the Walk away the lbs. video 1 mile walk (@11pm) making that 2 miles I walked today :icondance
      Then took a hot shower and my eyes are wide open!!!
      Maybe a whooshy in the morning????? I hope , I hope, I hope... :angel

        I have not purchased any frankenfoods, drank only water and decaf tea (I try to stay away from that one as I think it is a trigger), but this morning I licked my fingers after pinching out some brown sugar for my daughter's oatmeal. :raving Granted, it wasn't sugar IN her oatmeal, and I am doing much better in the no testing department, and it was only a few grains, but a. the sink faucet was only a few inches away, and b. I could have used a spoon. Ugh, what a disgusting habit. :smackhead Boot camp starts on Monday. I had better get myself together. Hey lostandfound, that lbs video is great, I did it yesterday and it wasn't easy!

          I'm in!! I'm in one of those dreaded "stalls"--no pounds lost for nearly three weeks (although I'm still losing inches, thank heavens, or I'd be completely discouraged). I need to be much more diligent about my water and make sure that I make note of every single bite I eat so I don't creep about 25-30 carbs per day.

            I've done my ab work on both Wednesday and Thursday and believe me...I HATE ab work. I read recently that you should really do the exercises that you hate first, because those are the ones that you really need the most. Doesn't that just suck?

            And, I've managed to restrain myself from eating too many carbs at night. And, it's only because I knew that Joan would track me down and give me that disappointed look that I found some restraint. Thanks Joan!

                Here I am!

                Just logged into Fit Day for the second day in a row! I haven't had a caffeinated drink since last week and don't have the urge now, either.

                Thanks for this challenge - I seem to do better with this kind of thing when others are 'relying' on me!

                  Ok, so I have been doing well with my water, and have limited diet rites to one a day, which I still need to cut out completely. This morning I weighed in at 312.5 which is up 2.5 from last week, but I am experienceing TOM so we will see how it all shakes out after that!

                    I need to stop justifying a little "more carbs" because I'm exercising.

                    I need to stop letting life bump exercising to the back burner.

                            After my finger licking incident, I decided it was time for penance, so I made chocolate chip oatmeal cookies with my daughter, and didn't even steal a chip or crumb. The cookies were for a garage sale, but since then my husband made brownies, and my kids seem to like the ice cream with the brownies more than the soggy brownie. I have managed to go two days without finishing, testing or whatever as I just throw the leftovers away. Yep, straight into the garbage. No need to save them. No need to finish them.Normally, those brownies wouldn't have lasted a day with me home. I keep telling myself I already know what they taste like. And that resisting temptation will be a great story for the ADBB! (Also, I am doing boot camp, so no messing around).

                              Good morning folks!

                              Time for my update! Thanks to doing the daily water dhallenge I have been getting all of my water drunk. Actually, been able to go past my daily goal.
                              Still keeping my food journal and actually went for a bike ride on Sunday!
                              This big ole' body of mine isn't used to exercising so at the moment every other day is a major achievement! Wiil eventually get to doing some sort of exercise every day, but for now every other day is an improvement on my previous life.

                                Good morning all:

                                Well, I've managed to get my ab work in almost every evening. I've added it into the exercise challenge, so I'm commited to doing at least 100 crunches every night. Still hate them, but I do them anyway. And, I've managed to restrain myself on the carb intake in the evenings as well. Unfortunately, I haven't seen that translate to the scale...yet!

                                Shuffle: Your body will get so used the the exercise that it will crave it! It still surprises me that on the days that I "rest", I feel like something is missing. Soon that bike will be your best friend. Keep up the good work!

                                Ann: I don't know how you can bake those cookies! That would be just way too much temptation for me! Congratulations on your will power.

                                Jackie: No caffeine? Way to go!

                                Congratulations to everyone. Did you all know that there are only 18 weeks until Christmas? Who's going to buy a scanty little evening dress for New Year's?
