Thanksgiving Challenge

  • okay - I am choosing to ignore this week.

    there is either something very wrong with me or my scale.

    I'm up 7lbs?! from last week.

    Just can't be right.

    I have not written everything down perfectly and I might be playing around with 5 carbs but I've done nothing to warrant 7 pounds. Does that sound extreme to anyone?

    I've been sick and have had days where I have eaten and drank very little. My only guess is that my body is retaining water and lbs because I've induced a mini starvation mode... so it's back to writing down EVERY LITTLE THING and see what is going on.

    also I have not exercised in a week and a half because of injury and illness. I can't wait to get back!

      Yesterday I didn't exercise much at all, I had an herbal body wrap and was too much of a human puddle to do anything, plus I had a date last night
      Today, I'm cleaning house, and I am going to hop onto my exercise bike for as long as I can stand it tonight. I was with my Dad all morning going over my financial planning for the future stuff. My brain is fried.
      Tomorrow morning as soon as I get back from dropping my kitty off at the vet's I'm going for a 2 mile walk.

      • Good Morning Everyone!

        Down to 206.5 this morning, though I feel much lighter. Had a bout with my gallbladder on Saturday so I haven't had much to eat. Feel much better now, though.

          • After a couple of weeks at almost no scale-movement and last week I gained a few pounds, I am happy to report a 3 pound whoooooooshie!

            I got all the way up to 147.8 and now I'm at 144.8.

            Keep up all your good work, my friends, we can do this challenge!!!1

              • I've been drafted into Boot Camp. Again lol

                did the Navy one, now I'm doing the Atkins one. Somehow I think Atkins will be easier :yes

                So I will weigh in when I can after Sunday!!!

                    im 239! glad to get under that 240 mark even if it is only a pound!! weeeeeeeeeehawwwwwwww!

                        • Up 1.5 lbs today to 208 :yikes

                          More than likely it's because I didn't drink enough water and hardly ate any vegetables. Hopefully, I'll see a drop in weight next week.

                              Too happy I guess, said it twice. Down to 209 this morning though. Would love to see several go at a time but I'll take them one at a time.
