    Re: Mother's Day Challenge

Hi there- checking in for Tuesday (although it's probably Mon night for most of you folk).

Am still battling the allergic reaction -hives appearing all over the place so feeling quite miserable there. The prednisone is doing its thing too now in that I am starting to get quite hungry even though I'm still in ketosis, so I am hanging on by my fingernails & drinking bottle after bottle of water .Gotta love the constant runs to the bathroom afterwards!!

back to you guys though - so many of you are doing so well! Elsie, thanks for the above recipes, they look great & I will be trying them soon. Don't worry about your temporary glitch - look how far you have come - amazing! Just get back in the saddle.

Steph- congrats on staying the course while at a function - being still new at this, that is going to be a big hurdle for me to deal with. Go you!

Anyway my new northern hemisphere friends - have a great night!

                Hi Everyone!

I think I forgot to check in yesterday. Have been doing really well so far.

Steph ~ Wow Wee, you look hot! I'm glad you had a great time at your son's birthday party. The first is so precious!

Danny ~ Way to go. You are doing it all right, no matter what is going on around you! Good for you for putting yourself first! Your kids need you to put yourself first, that way you will be the best dad you can be for them!

Elsie ~ I'm glad you got right back on the wagon! That is what counts. Getting off and staying off is what can really mess you up.

Cypressgirl ~ I'm glad you are feeling better! I'm getting ready to take my ds to see if he has it.

Heidi ~ It's okay girl, we all have those days! You have proven what a strong person you are! No doubt in my mind you are a warrior!

Okay, gotta run and take ds for strep throat culture. Have a great day everyone!

                    Re: Mother's Day Challenge

I have been just horrible at checking-in - so . . . sorry! I've had a hard 5 days, but am back on the wagon. I didn't realize the not all emotional issues drive me hard and fast into bad eating - just some. And those "some" chased me down over the weekend. But I'm back, going to do a new clean Induction, starting today.

My weight is up a pound, but I'm hoping for a whooshie after my 5 days of bad eating. I'm just hoping that I don't get the Induction flu again!!!!!

I am kicking up my exercise, which should help, a lot! I'm walking at least 30 minutes a day - today it will be closer to an hour and 10 minutes, plus some weight exercises at home. Hopefully, this will also kci me back into weight loss/inch loss mode.

                    Big love to all!

                    Stacy

Oh, I certainly do drink my water!!! 80 oz at work (I have a 20 oz glass and fill it 4 times), about 12 oz in the morning, and probably another 24 oz at night. Sometimes I think I will just float away . . . . . . . .!!!!

Look at you water drinkin people!! Weigh to go!!!

Stacy, just shake it off and move an. You are gonna be fine, especially w/ that exercise!

Well, Today I am down to 160 even. I lost 1.2 in the past 2 days, which I am so excited about. I want to be 150 for my Dad's wedding, and I have lost 1.2 so far, so I have 10 more to go. I think I can pull that off. I have been really strick lately and I know if I keep it up, I can do this. TOM is leaving here shortly, so I don't have to worry about that interfering w/ my loss.

I am off to make some dinner. I will talk to you guys later!! Have a great night everyone

Way to go Steph!!! You will be in a new decade very soon now!

I had another good day 20 cups plus of water. Made some stuffed peppers tonight. They were good..cheesy..I think I would have liked a little ceyanne or old bay seasoning in them though. If you are on induction I would count the 1/2 green pepper as my 1 c other vegie. JMO. Night all.

                              MAKE ME STUFFED PEPPERS
2 large green peppers, halved lengthwise, 6 ounces each
                              1 pound ground beef
                              1/4 cup onion, chopped, 1 1/4 ounces
                              1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup tomato, chopped, about 2 ounces
                              Salt and pepper, to taste
                              4 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
2 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded, for topping

In a large pot, bring about half potful of water to boil. Add the peppers and boil for 3 minutes. Drain. In same pot, brown the hamburger, onion and garlic. Drain fat and stir in tomatoes and seasonings. Cook until tomatoes are hot; remove from heat and stir in the 4 ounces cheese. Put the pepper halves in a greased 8x8" baking pan and fill with meat mixture. Sprinkle the extra cheese on top, if using. Bake at 350ยบ for 20-25 minutes.

                              Makes 4 servings

Good Morning Everyone. Today is gonna be a LONGGG day. My sister is bring her daughter here for m to watch for the day so she can go to the Dr.'s. I love when she comes over, she's a blast. BUT the boys have a half day and act so stupid when she's here, so it'll be eventful, to say the least. I have to renew insurance April 23rd, but I am going to be outta town and we don't get paid until the 26th. Ugh, I hate when this happens. I'll figure it out.

Joey is sick, and I am getting it. I am really tired, that's about it. I can't wait for DH to get home and I can go tan and relax....

Look at you Elsie, just WHIPPING out all those recipes! You go girl! I'm coming to your house for dinner!!! LOL.

Well, that's enough from me. Have a great day everyone!!
