    Hey guys! Count me in! I am getting back to this woe, and I am in until the 15th for sure!!!!!!!!!

    Plan for today:
    breakfast: morningstar eggs
    lunch: salad with turkey on it
    dinner: hamburger with zucchini and salad

    don't know about the snacks yet.. we will see!!!!!

      Hi Rikki,

      Hey, nice to have you with us. Your food sounds great for the day... so does Cancun in May and Vegas in June. I'm glad your doing induction with us!

      I woke up to 184 this morning...I was happy to see that on the scale. I'm getting ready to make a mock Danish and do some reading. I loved what Rikki said... cheating sucks... that's why I'm here... to stay on track and have a great induction... this feels great.

        Thanks to everyone for taking this journey with me.

        Rikki you sound like me last year. Me and some friend girls of mine generally always go to Cancun during May except for this year. I always did Atkins 30 days prior to going so that I could look decent in my swimsuit. Last year I was at 160...trying to get ack there. I found that was a good weight for me anything lower makes me look too skinny (my personal opinion).

        Okay ladies...yesterday was okay. I ended the day with a taco salad..yummy!

        - Day Two -
        Breakfast (9 AM) - ham/chees omlete with onions and bellpepper (Water 20 oz)
        Snack (10 AM) - Water 20 oz
        Lunch (1 PM)- Taco salad (leftovers from last night)
        Dinner - Undecided...something chicken though!
        **Water goal for today is 100 oz**

        For exercise...I will drop my son off at Basketball practice and walk a mile around the track, will try to do more if not tired. All will also do my 10 minute AB workout.

          Okay Weighed in @ 168 lbs
          Breakfast: 3pieces of bacon, 2 Scrambled aggs and 2 slices cheedar cheese
          Lunch: Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad
          Dinner: Blue Snapper Fish
          Peppermint Tea w/ 6 splenda.... I Know I went over, but I wont today...
          Water
          Workout: Yoga/Pilates 1 Hr
          May 2nd
          Breakfast: 4 sausage patties and 2 Scrambled eggs and cheddar cheese
          Peppermint tea 3 splenda
          water ...so far- i need to measure but i will do that tonight

            Narose, I'm glad you had a good day yesterday. At this rate by next year we'll all be going to Cancun with incredible bodies!

            Hi Sourpuffgirl...it's great to see you here today. 1 hour of yoga and pilates yesterday.... that was great. I only did 45 minutes of pilates.... lol

            OK... (for me) I need to stay away from the scale for the rest of induction because I get obsessed with the scale. I'll just used ketostick's to check my progress and I need to take my measurements.

              Boy was I tired & achy yesterday (from all the work over the weekend), but still managed 1/2 hour walk and a little work on the rock wall. Scales moving again to 203 this morning. Bye, TOM (good riddance!!!). Having eggs, steamed clams in butter, lettuce salad w/oil&vinegar, smoked sausage & onion today.

                Ladies keep up the good work. Sort of getting a little hungry! Only 5 more minutes before I get off of work. Reading the board is a tremendous help when you need a little motivation. Yesterday I did not exercise but today is a different story. I found out practice was cancelled so I guess I will do 45 to 1 hr cardio workout and my 10 minute ab workout.

                I'm not sure if I shared this with you all but there is some excellent excersize programs that you can find on On Demand.My cable provider where I live is Comcast Cable and they provide On Demand service. It is awesome no matter what type of programs you like. As far as exercise they have real goo programming from a 15 minute Walk A Mile exercise program, yoga/pilates, abs and more.

                I realized at lunch I forgot my lettuce for my taco salad no threat I thought fast....I ordered a side salad from Wendy's and told them to cut the carrots. PERFECT!!

                  Hi everyone! sounds like you are all doing fab!!! I am doing well today. I think my calories are higher, but I feel like I am hungry! I am goign to input my stuff into fitday and see....well, so far almost 1200 calories.. I am goign to try to keep them lower... BUT, I want to get my ratios closer to where they need to be..... so I will watch that closer...

                  hope everyone has a great night! I am off to drink some more water... I slack in that today, also no exercise for me. I have a bunch of papers due tomorrow so I wanna get those done. I will definitely go to the gym tomorrow tho!!! NO EXCUSES!!!!!

                    Water, water, water...still need to work on that. Not a great day with the water! Had cobb salad for lunch and Shrimp Scampi with Zucchini for dinner. Loved dinner. I didn't exercise today but I have Pilates scheduled for tomorrow.

                    Susan - working on a rock wall - that sounds like so much fun... and it sounds like great exercise to me with a 1/2 hour walk. I thin you did great.

                    Narose- I need to check out with exercise programs we have here. I should probably try to add in a good cardio workout on the days when I'm not in Pilates and working with the TV might be a great way.

                    Rikki- I'm glad you've had a good day. OMG... I always kept my calories around 1800 -2300 before... I sure hope I'm OK. I usually don't even think about them (yikes)... Geez your good!

                    How do you get your pictures to post under your signatures. I tried to do that, but I can't find the URL's?

                      Thanks for reminding me, SweetCher! I've still got a bad habit of eating first & drinking after. Often after putting too much food in my mouth. I end up with plenty of water, but perhaps would eat less if Water goes in first!

                      For the pictures, go to ADBB Gallery, general area, & upload it. Then get the associated tagged link & put it in the signature. Sometimes is tricky, hope this helps.

                      Got into some more abs yesterday, and fewling better today, but still tired. Watching movies (in this case The Triangle - Awsome!!) until 2am on day 2 doesn't do much for energy levels for day 3) But now there's a new problem. Mom is telling me I CAN eat rice, taters, corn etc "if I just eat a small portion" - she still doesn't get it, quite, and telling me how great I look & all that which makes me want to cheet horribly right now, and my son waves the stuff (literally!) in front of my face driving me crazy!

                        cher- do you keep a bottle with you at all times? That seems to be the way I usually get my water in! I definitely drink most of it in the car. I keep the bottle open and just keep chuggin! lol have fun at pilates tomorrow!

                        susan- you know what is best for you and obviously, looking at your pics and stats- you have figured out which diet works for you! Keep up the great work girl! I know its hard with others around nagging or rubbin food in our faces, but we can do this!!!!

                        Hope everyone is having a great day. I am eating a salad thinking of what exercise I am goign to do today... I think I will go later this afternoon... hmmmm........ water water water!

                          Okay everyone! I must say I have been doing very well. No Atkins flu so far. I really need to start adding my food intake to Fitday so i can check my caloric intake too!

                          Water...Water...Water! I have noticed that is better drinking in the car because when I get home from work the only time I drink water is before dinner. I would like to squeeze in one more bottle a day to get up to 80 ozs.

                          For lunch today I had a salad with a some roast beef. I must say it ws very delicious! I am on bottle number 2 (40 ounces). My aerobic exercise was good it wore me out. I did the Walking Aerobics video and a 10 minute AB workout.

                          I am off to the store this evening to get some more items. In the morning I plan to eat an sausage and egg scramble...for lunch of course a salad and for dinner I am always undecided.

                          I think the Atkins vitamins have started working because I really haven't been feeling hungry and have gained a little more energy.

                              -Susan, Thanks for your help with the picture, I'm trying to work on that this evening.
                              Isn't it funny how our families can try to sabotage our efforts. I don't think they really mean to. Everybody kept telling me how I shouldn't eat the way I did when I was at 130 - 134. Now look what's happened. We really do know what's best for our bodies. Lets see 222, or 175... it's so simple. That's exactly why I need a place like this to come. You've done great. You look incredible. We can eat great food.

                              -Rikki - I really do need to keep a bottle of water with me... even my Pilates instructor said that today. how funny. I was a little better with the water today. No tea... I brightening my teeth...lol. So, I'm glad you mentioned the water, I'll drink some more right now. I wish it wasn't so late here in California or I'd try to add to your grocery list. Your probably in bed now...lol. Sorry

                              -Narose- I forgot about the Adkins flu. I don't think I ever experienced it the first time and I hope I don't get it this time. Your so good with your exercise. I hope I can become so dedicated.

                              I'm really glad everyone is doing so well. I jumped on the scale again this morning. I really need to stay away from the scale. I did this the last time I was losing weight.
                              I did buy a new tape measure but I haven't measured myself and I don't have a current photo just one from 5 or 6 months ago. So, I need to work on both so I can watch the progress.

                                I am with you, I don't think I ever really got the atkins flu before, I don't think I am getting it this time either... I have had headaches, but that isn't always new here....
                                I am finishing my papers tonight so I can be completely done with school tomorrow! Yeay! Ok- well, I never made it to the grocery tonight so I will have to go tomorrow. I am goign to try to get up erly and get it done quick in the morning. we just fed the dogs the lst of their food tonight so they will have a late breakfast some cookies should hold them over tho! lol... spooooiiillleeedddd!!!... anywho- Hope everyone is having a great night!!!!! ttyl!
