Day 9 over. I'm getting behind with the checking in. Running around like a chicken with my head cut off, getting ready for surgery and other yucky stuff at UVA in the next three weeks. I forgot to weigh in this morning! I don't have the energy to eat, but stress is making me WANT to just eat and eat.
Sunny!

Day One for me. I was in the fields this weekend and made a few quick and very hasty choices that weren't so good. I knew to prepare better and next time I will. I am here for the long haul this time, no excuses. good luck everybody.
23 Days today. Sunny, I hope you are mentally feeling better! And Brady, thanks! Proud of you all too! I think we have to learn to live with mistakes/bad choices as they are part of life and if we are to stay on this wol/woe permanantly, I don't think we can go without once in a while choosing without guilt the choice that is not necessarily the best. As long as it's not a regular occurence. Happy Tuesday!

9 days cheat free! I am not going to give up!
"Some people have photo albums; I have a scrapbook on hangers."
First mini goal: To fit in the airplane seat on October 19th! Pray for me!
Day 10. What a day!!!! It never stops!!! More appointments at UVA. The phone never stops ringing.
Tomorrow is going to be really tough. I am having a horrendous procedure, and I just read the new instructions, really changed from when I had the last one. I am to eat a light meal 6 hours before the procedure--dry toast, cereal with skim milk, or a small non-meat sandwich. I am not to eat meats, fried or fatty foods at all on the day of the procedure, and if I do, they will cancel. I am to drink clear liquids up to two hours before the procedure, preferably apple juice, sodas, coffee, tea or water. The procedure is at 2:00 p.m., very far from home. I know they will try to force me to drink juice and eat crackers before I leave and I will be making them very mad by refusing. Oh, well!
This procedure has nothing to do with my digestive system, and they have never been this strict before. Must have had a few people throw up on their 20 million dollar piece of equipment. I've never gotten sick. Passed out a few times from the pain, but didn't get sick.
I'm thinking boiled eggs, though they have a lot of fat. I will pack something, because I will be barely able to walk or use my arms for about three days after and I live alone.
Sorry to be so whiny, but this is getting the best of me. I probably won't be able to check in for a few days.

Day 11 done, thank goodness. I lived, but am much the worse for wear.
