Oh, my! Day 12 already! This 14 day induction is going fast.
I had to resist temptation big-time tonight, but I'm proud to say I did it. I was a bread lover (OK, I'm a recovering bread addict) and have been making homemade bread since I was big enough to stand on a chair to reach the counter. Tonight, I made and baked 60 small cocktail buns to make ham biscuits with tomorrow. It's one of my favorite recipes, and they smelled sooo good baking--that heavenly yeasty, sweet smell. I stayed out of the kitchen while they were cooling and then quickly put them away. Now I just have to suffer through splitting them tomorrow and filling them with country ham.
