    Day 29 for me!!!! Yeah! I stayed legal through my surgery and so far during recovery.

    Where is everyone? I have my arms bandaged from shoulder to second knuckles and my upper body from shoulders to waist, but I'm here checking in! The holidays will be here before you know it and we all want to be slim and trim! I think I've lost a few, but I'm so swollen from surgery, I don't dare get on the scales.

    Come on back and participate!!! You know you need this challenge to stay on the straight and narrow.

        Day 30 in the bag! I went to the doc, but he left in all the stitches and staples and 2 of 4 drains. I will still have my mummy costume on for halloween at this rate. I go back next Monday to take them all out and take off the bandages, unless he can think of another excuse to keep them in.

        I really wanted to cheat after the day long appointment, but I want to be skinny much more. I was satisfied with roasted chicken and roasted veggies with lots of olive oil. Yummy!

              Yeah!!! Day 31 for me!!! Today wasn't hard. I was up most of the night in pain and throwing up, so all I could have today was broth and lots of water. I am so dry. Hoping for a better night tonight. I hope through all this, I have dropped a few stubborn pounds! I'm gonna weigh on Friday, though I have on lots of gauze and bandages, and at least a pound of staples.

              I'm tired of being a surgery patient. I'm ready to get my happy back!

                            I don't think there is one. This has been running for a long time. We mostly cheer each other on and I try to stir 'em up once in a while. I'm the pep squad.

                            Do we have to have a leader??? I am co-captain of another challenge, and I just had extensive surgery. I'm still wrapped mummy style from neck to waist and shoulders to first knuckles. I don't get the hundreds of stitches and staples and last drains out until Monday. Sooo I can't do more than I'm doing now.

                                Day 34 in the bank! I had a delicious baked pork steak and a salad for dinner. I'll be so glad when these bandages and staples come off my arms & hands so I can go back outside to grill my meat on the gas grill. I did up a bunch ahead of surgery and froze it, but it's just not the same. Plus--I had no idea that the stitches/staples, drains & bandages would be on so long. I'm restricted to lifting no more than 5 pounds for a month after the stuff is removed. They had said that I could resume exercise 6 weeks after surgery, which was done on October 17. Now they are saying a month after Monday, October 29, before I can even lift more than 5 pounds or exert myself in any way. Sneaky doctors!
