    Oh dear ... I CHEATED!!! and it was such a horrible cheat!!! I was in the hospital for 5 hours with my son. Didn't have breakfast, didn't have lunch and my son was hungry and wanted McDonalds. As he was eating he said "Mom try this, it doesn't taste right " so automatically I grabbed the french fry and said "yeah you're right there's not enough salt" before I even realized it, I ate it!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!!

      Did you just eat the one??? That's not so terrible. I have been having a fit not to lick my fingers while cooking high carb stuff for others. I hate to have anything messy on my fingers, so I tend to lick them when I can't wash them right that second. The other night, I even wiped off my tongue with a paper towel.

        I've lost track of my days. It's been a bunch--if I don't count licking my fingers while cooking. I'm looking forward to a delicious and completely legal Thanksgiving.

            Yup I ate just one french fry!!! I know not so bad but I hadn't had one single cheat for almost three weeks!!!

To join, all you have to do is jump in, tell us a bit about yourself, and start posting how many days since you have had anything not on your rung of Atkins. You count days prior to joining the challenge, if you have any. Then, try to check in as often as possible with an update. Just add which day you are on. Tell us of your challenges, successes, bumps in the road, if you avoided temptation. If you fall off the wagon, just get back on and admit it and start over. You get the picture! Welcome aboard!

                                Okay, gang, today is a day we have try to remember what we are doing and stay strong! A holiday, even one fashioned around food, can be celebrated whthout going off plan. I am now cooking a Thanksgiving feast and all of it legal. There's a recipe that can be made legal for each of the holiday treats! Just Do IT!
