Re: How Long Can You Go???
Wow Becca, with all your pictures in a row, you can really see the dramatic difference! You look beautiful!
TirtleBaby, even though I know a month isn't all that long (compared to how long it took for me to pack all this weight on to begin with!), I have been going through the same thing. I lost about 14 pounds in a big ol' whoosh when I first started and the other couple of pounds have been just lingering...they'll leave one day, come back the next! It will happen with time...we just have to be patient...besides, Dr. Atkins says that people who take longer to take it off have a better success rate for keeping it off! Sounds good to me!
Go Liz!!! Your 1 week button looks very very nifty in your siggy
Kat, good luck with your weigh this morning! Hope it gives you good news!
I came about a millimeter away from eating every piece of junk we had in the house last night. I mean really close. I'd picked up a reeses peanut butter cup of my hubby's and was kind of twirling it around in my hand, contemplating. My best friend stood me up for our coffee date last night and I was so hurt that of course, the first thing I thought about was eating junk. I am so sick of doing that. I squished the peanut butter cup and threw it in the trash, but I felt really annoyed that it was the first thing I reached for. I'm seriously thinking that bingeing on junk is my own form of self harm. I mean, it's killing me, right? I didn't do it though, which makes me proud...I just want to stay on track!
Today is a brand new, shiny (albeit HOT) day. I hope it's good for everyone...me included!

You're doing WONDERFUL!!
Its SO true, that we "think" we are comforting ourselves when we give in to those carbs, but in truth, its self-punishment at its worst! Every carb laden peice of junk we throw into ourselves is just going to hurt us more in the long run! SO here is a
Thanks for passing up the temptation so you can still be our shiny lead example!
