Well--Girls I am right there starting over with you all--AGAIN... I jsut need to get far enough into induction to get rid of these cravings.

I had Lindt truffles yesterday -last night and this am....

I had a good salad for luch and am hoping to make it clean from here on out.

I also made some of SFS pumpkin cheesecake late last night. Have been having a bite or two of that when I am craving those darn truffles.

Blah-- I just fel so awful-- but I am under some serious stress here at home right now.. And eat and vomit is what I do best in these dituations.

I hope it all passes -- soon.. Glad to see I am not alone!!!

We all can supposrt each other throught this.. we can do it.

I am having Jalapeno poppers and hamburg for supper, with sme cukes.... I guess -- that is the best I can think of now...

      *trying ot hang in there:-(

I would like to join the trick no treats challenge. I have 3 kids who I have to take trick or treating (or be shot by them). But, I would like to do anything that would help to motivate myself. I am going to pledge to run at least 1 1/2 miles per day and use my home gym 4 times a week. What do I do to get the little pumkin to pop up?

Thanks for being so supportive Silly. They say confession is good for the soul... let's hope so.

Cristy - I'm glad that you're with us in spirit for the rest of the day... even if your official Day 1 is tomorrow.

bjs - looks like we all need a serious induction to get rid of these cravings! This really is catchy... LOL

Here is what I’m going to do in order to meet our goal:
              • I’ll start eating breakfast for the first time, as an adult .That means that my greens will be 3 caps per day
              • I haven’t figured out how yet , but I’ll work around my schedule so I’ll eat every 6 hours.
              • I’m going to add lower and upper body exercises. I believe my cardio is OK .
So, first thing tomorrow I’m buying a resistance band and dumbbells.
              extended induction
              SW 127kg (1/06/08 ) - CW 111 Kg (26/8/08 )- GW 70 Kg

NO BREAKFAST? Me either until I started eating this way. I still struggle to eat in the mornings, but I do it.

                  BOOOOOO!!!!

Count me in for this - I don't stand a chance in h*** of losing 10 starting when I weigh on Sept 1 (after my no-weigh challenge ends) but I need to give it all I've got because being the wild animal that I am, the harvest month has always been when I start instinctively craving more food than normal, perhaps a throwback to the caveman days when fattening up before the winter was a matter of life or death. I always get fall munchies, as the days grow shorter.

In fact, I don't need to eat any more at all than usual. My house has heat for the winter, and there will not be a food shortage likely anywhere near me. Instead, (it is already starting), local retailers will bombard my senses with the smells and sights of all manner of tooth-rotting franken-delights, followed in rapid, overlapping succession by buy-me campains for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Valentines, and Easter carb-laden junk food. Coworkers will bring the stuff to work to share, too. And my Birthday is betweeen the first 2.

So if this challenge can keep me from succumbing to the extra pressure, I'll be happy if I can drop 7 or 8 by shooting for 10.

Misslili... I'm glad you're here! It will be so much easier when we do this together. The support and encouragement here is great - this is a fantastic group.

Isn't that the truth? Something that makes me almost drool are those German nuts they sell at the malls around the holidays - the ones with the cinnamon and sugar. I think I can smell those from the parking lot.

Silly... you're so right about the 'fessing up. It sure wouldn't do us one bit of good to pretend like we didn't eat those cookies - the scales would prove it!

                        You guys are the best!
I am with you Cristy and Cher.... though I too messed up this morning. But I'm not going to wait any longer to start because if I say I'll start tomorrow that'll give me even more room to make excuses. I am very weak willed right now. So....from this point on!

I have this really embarrassing picture that was taken of me a few years ago, when I was close to 180 pounds, I looked so terrible. I'm thinkin' I might have to start carrying it with me to remind myself that eating this crap isn't worth it.

Hey everybody...just checking in. I weighed this morning and it moved in the right direction! Woohoo!! BUT I'm not getting my hopes up because sometimes it does that to me and then pops back up the next day. I'm going to try not to weight again until Monday morning (my official weigh days).

                            Welcome Olga, Lili, and Susan!

Well, shoot...if Boonie can do it, so will I.

Partaking in the harvest festivities is more my families game, and my addiction to carmel apples have slowly subsided over the years. I said slowly.

But...and it's a big BUTT, my birthday is 5 days after all hallow's eve and I'd like to join in this little gang of hulligans to keep me straight during these hectic days of going back to school, if in you all don't mind.

So....My goal is to drop down to the 180's (anywhere in that vacinity) by...

                                Burning rubber on my treadmill

Keeping on the straight and narrow of avoiding smores (see my journal for confessional)

Staying away from the evil scale for no less than 14 days, because I like to be surprised and not feel attached to the metal monster.
