    Kitty - you're so right "eating this crap isn't worth it" we're reminded of that anytime we have a binge of bad carbs! So, where ever we're at... let's just get back on track!
    At least by Friday we should feel better!

    Liz - congratulations on the scale moving down - that must feel great!

      ooh..ooh... ( Waving hand in the air) Can I join too? I want to lose 10lbs by Halloween!

      I plan on doing this by sticking to extended induction, hitting the gym treadmill at least 30 minutes 4x a week ( aiming for 5x a week)

          Good Job joy---

          Well my cauli rice was a flop-- the cauli was bitter-- so reminded me of turnip-- guess that is why I prefer frozen cauli if cooked.

          My poppers tonight were delish-- I have left overs will chop them in the am and throw them in my eggs!! YUMMY

          So, all in all I had a good day too--

          How is everyone else doing?

              Today was a lot better! Dinner was great. Made Blackened King Salmon with Sauteed spinach for me and Rice for DBF. Trying hard to cleanse my system with fish today!

                Jalapeno's stuffed with cream cheese and cheddar-- baked!!! or grilled--- delish!! you must have seen the thread kicking around here on them..Yummy!

                  So good morning eveyone, I'm ready for my first day and I feel very positive. I had my breakfast ( eggs with tomatoes ) and I'm on my way to buy the resistance band and weights. See you all tonight, hopefully everyone with good reports

                    Good morning everyone!
                    Cher-mmmmmmmmm blackened king salmon and spinach sounds just heavenly! I love fish, but my DH won't eat it

                    Bjs--man, that bites that your cauli didn't turn out right. I've never had a problem with cauli being bitter. You know I tried turnips again night before last....and they were still bitter.

                    I didn't eat breakfast this morning and my belly is growling. Maybe I can run over to the cafeteria and find some sausage or something.

                        Breakfast is so crucial on this diet, that is a GREAT thing to add to your plan. Sounds like you are cementing the basics which is the best thing you can do. Let me know how you like the resistance bands and dumbbells!

                          Count me in for this - I don't stand a chance in h*** of losing 10 starting when I weigh on Sept 1 (after my no-weigh challenge ends) but I need to give it all I've got because being the wild animal that I am, the harvest month has always been when I start instinctively craving more food than normal, perhaps a throwback to the caveman days when fattening up before the winter was a matter of life or death. I always get fall munchies, as the days grow shorter.

                          In fact, I don't need to eat any more at all than usual. My house has heat for the winter, and there will not be a food shortage likely anywhere near me. Instead, (it is already starting), local retailers will bombard my senses with the smells and sights of all manner of tooth-rotting franken-delights, followed in rapid, overlapping succession by buy-me campains for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Valentines, and Easter carb-laden junk food. Coworkers will bring the stuff to work to share, too. And my Birthday is betweeen the first 2.

                          So if this challenge can keep me from succumbing to the extra pressure, I'll be happy if I can drop 7 or 8 by shooting for 10.

                                I'M BACK!!!

                                It killed me not to be online more these past two days, and I got very depressed and semi stressed out, and food was becoming tempting. I didn't want to come back here and tell you all that I had cheated, so it was thinking of everyone here that stopped me from going off plan. THANK YOU!!

                                I think I'm up to date on the thread. I hope I welcomed all the newbies! If not WELCOME!

                                Please report any loss clearly so that I can update the chart. I'll post the chart on Mondays! For those of you who are new, for every one lbs. lost you get a "treat" on the chart!
