    Hi, I'm still at 165; I REALLY need some encouragement. The last few months I keep gaining and losing the same weight! Is this it-am I going to lose any more??

      How tall are you?

      Are you keeping a food diary. There could be something in there that is not agreeing with you and you may need to cut it out.

      • Hmmm...

        Well, I've been doing this since May and I've lost over 50 pounds and I haven't really changed anything. I'm 5'5 and yha I keep a food diary. Before, the weight was literally just slipping off-no problems whatsoever. I mean I'm proud of the 50 some pounds but I'm 20 pounds from goal-and I REALLY want to hit that goal.

        • Size8, I hear ya. I'm up and down, up and down. It's discouraging no doubt. I'm trying to believe that if I keep on keeping on, that something will happen (sigh). But if I'm not out of the 140's by July, I don't know. I think 7 months is plenty of time to lose at least 10 lbs!!

          Anyway, I'm up today. I'll use my weigh in on Wed as official. I'm going to work my fat butt off tonight! :guns

            ok so today is official monday and my weigh in....TOM finally came and was bad, but im know im still retaining water (hands are still swollen a little) but im still going to weigh in...yikes...182.4 (sorry in advance but this sucks). I know i will go down because i made a promise to myself to be at 170 by the end of april to be able to tell my hubby im at 170 on his birthday. I CAN DO IT!! I KNOW I CAN!!!

            • Hi All!
              Checking in today at 198.5. I have finally reached ONEDERLAND and it feels GREAT! Only 18.5 pounds for my July 4 goal.

              Size8, I know exactly how you feel. I've been stuck for it seems like FOREVER before. I just came off of a month long plateau. How I did it...
              I drank about MORE oz. of water a day (so I was up to about 150 oz. a day), I ate foods I hadn't eaten in a long time (I usually eat chicken and salmon, spinach and broccoli - switched to tuna and pork and cabbage - I also added back cantaloupe), and I did new workouts (I stayed w/ the treadmill but I did the intervals program instead of fat burn). I believe that all of these things together helped me drop 5.5 pounds in a little over a week. I also added extensive ab work to my workout routine (EVERY NIGHT).

              Try to add new foods or do a different work out that targets different muscles... definitely do something that will challenge you. The intervals makes my legs feel like spaghetti!

              • You guys are doing great!!! I just stumbled across this forum, and would like to join the callenge. I am currently at 185 and I know I can hit a goal weitght of 165 by July 4th. I have been on induction for 3 weeks now and have lost 10 pds. We just have to keep up the hard work and remember to DRINK YOUR WATER!!! Good luck to all, I'm looking forward to taking this journey with you! :icondance

                • Last night I did 30 min treadmill on cardio setting. I upped the speed a bit and I almost went off the back end of the treadmill. Thank goodness for handles! :yikes

                  Tonight I will do the same at least and try to do more. My weight is up....? I'll use whatever it is tomorrow as official. I sure hope my measurements are showing more progress. I'll measure this weekend. :confused

                        Hi All,

                        A few of my family members and myself started a 4th of July challenge, but to help me more I'd like to join this one. I will not be weighing in again until the 18th. I look forward to this challenge.

                        • Last night I did 20 min weight training on upper body and 30 min treadmill on cardio setting.

                          Tonight I will do at least 30 min treadmill and maybe weight training on lower body.

                          Weight today was 145. I hope there are less inches!
