            Good Morning Everyone!!! I hope everyones weekend was a great one, i know mine was. Well im happy to say i have lost 13lbs in the first week, which i know why such a big loss at first because i was retaining water and i just flushed it all out. Too bad i cant see that every week lol. Ok everyone i hope you all have a great day today and i will check in later.

                  Morning all, down to 154, just one lb. for me. I am feeling puffy today, going to try to make sure to up my water for this week. Congrats to everyone who had such good numbers. Alexa, hopefully you will see a water dump next week.

                    I have no idea what my body is doing!!!!!!!

                    ok... I got that out!!

                    I started my Atkins on the first at 190.. By the 6th I was 183.8 and then I started going back up.. even on the days I didn't cheat. I've had 2 days that I've messed up...

                    1) FYI - eating a taco salad WITHOUT the shell at Taco Bell.. still somehow still has 41 carbs... I thought I had done so good! NOT!

                    2) I dropped my son off at Youchein... (Japanese Kindergarten) and had every intention on sticking with my LOW CARB slim fast (only 2 net carbs .. drove 4 hours round trip to go get them at another base here in Japan!) Daughter had rearrange the fridge after grocery shopping and stuck a regular Optimum Slimfast or whatever they are called, that she likes, in the front and I didn't realize I had grabbed that one accidentally. Opening it while driving, I didn't look at the can.. but one sip told me it was NOT the low carb one.. so as I ran all my errands that morning.. I never ate. I picked up my son at 2.. headed for the BX and Commissary (Department and Grocery Store for the non -military people haha) and was absolutely starving. This is when I went to Taco Bell.. saw the listing of carbs for the taco salad without shell that I was about to order (and realized that I had blown it last week without knowing.. but actually still lost that day) and ended up at Popeye's with my son.. with every intention of just eating the chicken and not the skin.. and I caved!


                    So anyway.. that started a couple days of the scale climbing up! Somehow this morning I've lost what I regained plus a little more..... ???

                    I was about ready to give up again with the numbers rising even though I was staying on plan lately. But I won't.. cuz I just looked at my "before" pics again.. and I'll be "darned" if my ending ones will look just as bad!!!


                    OK.. explanation long but I had to get that out of my system! For those of you still reading.. thank you and have a great day!!!!! LOL

                      the taco bell is a big no yes, full of sugar!

                        Ok it is full disclosure time... I am weighing in at 194.4 yeah I know!!! up 7.2 I have no excuses...it is what it is. I have started exercising and feel great about that. I have a new weight loss buddy. My friend in Texas wants to lose 20 pounds so we are checking in with each other. She wanted to start today so I think I just let myself go. I am also glad I have finally found some L-Glutamine. I think that will help with the sugar cravings...I need that! Anyways...I am on the right track NOW...I am off to make some deviled eggs. Yum Yum!!

                          Ok.. well I was just getting ready to ask another question about that... I'll try to make a long story short...

                          I know there are a lot of people out there like me, that are every day weighers!! I have a computer program that I use every day and put the weight in!

                          Anyhow.. The first week after New Year's I was weighing at about 9:30 or 10:00 am cuz DH was off work and DS was out of Youchein..

                          then the next week I started weighing at about 7:30 or 8:00 am... again as soon as I woke up..

                          Either way it was the , ya know , typical pre sip of water --post potty weigh in, as soon as I got up) and my weight has been up by like 3 pounds all week!
                          This morning, Dominic didn't have school again and we got up later... and I weighed about 9:30am again. and I was not only down the 3 pounds I had been up but I was down a little more.

                          SO.... does everyone wiegh at the same time everyday? And if not... as the time fluctuates, does the weight also fluctuate???



                          OH.. and EMMA................

                          My beginning weight as of this morning was 182.4! (But see above.. it was a 9:30 weight! UGH! Is it only a good weight cuz I waited longer to weigh??)
                          I CAN ... and I WILL !!

                            Thank you all who expressed concern regarding my Mom. She had no new fractures and gets fitted for her new prosthesis tomorrow.

                            I'm down 1.6 pounds. I consider this a blessing considering I was cursed with TOM. Ugh!!

                              I want to cry, I'm really frustrated right now. I had a totally cheat-free week, I did an hour of cardio M-F, plus 30 minutes of strength training on M-W-F, and I'm exactly the same. I didn't lose anything, after working so hard and watching every carb, and drinking around 100 oz of water a day. I know it's not TOM because that ended last week, so I don't know what's going on. I know it's really hard for me to lose weight since I quit smoking and got on the anti-depressants, it just doesn't get any easier to deal with.

                              Oh well, pushing on to next week, maybe I'll get lucky then.

                                VetteChic - I really dont think the time matters, you're just experiencing natural hormonal fluctuations...

                                Did you get extra water in yesterday? that always helps for a woosh on the scales! are you sure all your foods are okay and you're not missing any hidden sugars?

                                Boo - hang in there, it'll work out in the end, be extra vigilant on reading those labels!
