Pam... what are you watching the Cowboys for? It's the Chargers you need to watch! ha! jk... actually my son is a big Cowboys fan now... for some strange reason... I even bought him a nice retro Cowboys shirt for Christmas which he loves. But try to think about the scale when you drink those beers... say no if you can. Save it for Superbowl...

Atkid, we're meeting again for a repeat on Tuesday so we'll take pics then!

Randiman thanks for volunteering to keep track of all the lbs lost! that'll make it fun! I like to keep track of it in terms of sacks of dog food... ha! 40lbs = a sack of dog food... pretty darn heavy! Try picking that up sometime! I can hardly believe I was carrying that around last year! no wonder I was so tired! ha!

Water WATER WATER everyone! Monday is right around the corner!

Oh my gosh last night was so stressful. As an emotional eater this incident would have sent me on a binge - instead I chewed the heck out of some gum last night (which I was trying to cut down on). My Mom fell and we ended up at the ER. This was bad because in October my Mom fell and shattered her left knee. This is the same leg that she has a prosthesis on (had bone cancer at 18 and had her leg amputated below the knee). She had been staying with me. When she screamed, my heart dropped into my stomach. I threw my laptop (luckily it's still working). My nerves were so shot and I was so tired that I didn't even go to work today. However, I did not cheat (even though I wanted to).

Drank some more water, ate dinner and was up peeing all night. On the good side, I was down those 4 lbs by the morning. The body is crazy thing. So I am very happy today. I never weight myself at night, only in the morning, first thing and then thats it for the day. it cuts down on the frustration

I am so sorry to hear about your mother... I hope that everything is better now and she is on her way to recovery.

I also wanted to say GREAT WORK on not giving into temptation! I usually fold and any excuse to eat for convince, but this time around is completely different, however your situation might have got me.

My confession! Well, I weighed myself today and was not happy. Those unwanted lbs that appeared, will not go away. I have been doing everything right...except the sodium. I now know that my recipe had way tooo much sodium. I was so annoyed that I had a cheat this morning. Once I started...of course it continued. I am back on track tonight and will be back to my old self tomorrow. .

I do the same thing too if I get fed up with the scale. I once ate an entire large pepperoni pizza in one sitting out of spite.

Good for you for getting right back on track!

This challenge is so awesome, it's seriously keeping me more accountable than I could ever be on my own, or even just posting. It's those dern pictures, everytime I think about cheating, I think about how embaressed I would be if I stayed the same. Especially with all the hard work everyone is doing, I know we are going to see some amazing results!

Another cheat free day. I tried a new recipe for dinner. Induction Taco's made with cheese shells, filled with hamburger meat, lettuce and tomato. It was yummy, and I was full after 1 taco! Even DH liked it, he's follow plan with me, but he's not on induction. He's not overweight, but has that little beer belly, eventhough he doesn't drink beer. He'll lose the 10-15 lbs within a couple of months, like he did the last time we were following Atkins 100%. Hmmm why is it so easy for men to lose weight? It's not fair!
