        Hey everyone!

My scales hate me too this week Emma! I'm going to have to take drastic action.

I have friend visiting this weekend and we are eating out but I am DETERMINED not to cheat! Go Jane!

I'm ready for a cheat-free weekend and am REALLY ready for the evil scale to start moving! I'm starting to get really discouraged and thinking about slacking up on my workouts because they don't seem to be doing any good. I keep pushing through and making myself do them. But to do workouts six days a week and not see results is starting to get old.

Liz stick with it, exercise is GOOD.... muscles retain water while you're exercising, are you drinking extra water to flush it all away? have you checked your menu out? are you eating enough? are you going about 30% in protein? lots of stuff to look at, your exercise is NOT the problem.

Watcha gonna do? Slim in Six - or did you finish that?

My drastic action is properly counting carbs and planning what I'll eat in the mornings. If I don't see an improvement on the scale I'll scream

I need to buy a new scale again. My old one says I've lost 3 pounds, my new stays the same. So I move the new one into the kitchen and it says I lost 3 pounds, then I move it to the other side of the kitchen and it says I lost 1 pound. Then I take it back to the bathroom and it says I lost 5 pounds, then I move it and it says I stayed them same, then I move it again to the other side of the bathroom and it says I lost 1 pound. My old scale showed 2-3 pounds lost depending on how close to the wall it was.

I finally got frustrated and grabbed my receipt and called the store. I'm taking that so-called "accurate as the doctor's office" scale back to the store and getting something else. I've had enough with trying the digital scale, I'm going to get another needle one, they've never steered me wrong before.

Well today is my first day of extended induction and after a week of TOM (which won't go away btw), but I have lost 3 more lbs!!! Congrats to everyone who is sticking this and not cheating!! My husband got a gift cert to one of the best local pizza joints in town, and has been begging me to go so he can use it. I told him after I have a clean 2 week induction that I would go. They have hot wings and a great simple salad, so I should be good. I will just have to tell him to get a doggie bag for the pizza he can't eat!!!! I hope everybody has a great cheat-free weekend!!!

Happy Friday everyone!! The weekend is almost here and my days get a little crazy. I am going to try hard to get all my water in this weekend. (That is where I slack the most...plus eating to much take - out burgers w/o the bun) I am actually thankful we weigh in on Mondays cause having that in the back of my head will help keep me in line. I hope everyone has a great day and weekend!!

Just a quick question - How do you know how much water you should drink in one day - really confused about the numbers?

Ditto on having the weigh in on Monday because if you cheat then you will only be disappointed on the next weigh in day. It helps me at least get thru the weekend.

Liz - congrats on not cheating at the Mexican restuartant. I would have cheated big time - I love Mexican food!!

Liz - keep exercising! You will see the results in the end. I know it's frustrating but you have to exercise - no way around it!!

LOL! But then the next week it would probably make me gain 5 pounds, and then I'd proabably just hurl it through the window.

I'm extra bummed too because my old scale is putting me at 145, which would give me the "normal" BMI. *sniff sniff* Okay, I'm over it now.

All that counts at this point is what my soon to be new scale says on Monday.
