          Yea Liz!!! Great Job!

I did something this morning that I rarely do. I weighed mid-week! I just felt lighter today, so I figured why not? I lost a little more than the pound I gained last week, so I think my new strategy is working. I guess we'll see what the REAL results are next Monday!

Good Luck to all the New Year, New You Losers this week!

Hey gang! So on Monday I finished my two weeks on induction. But then on Monday (which was a holiday and a day off for me), I went to the movies and gave in to that irresistable buttery smell of popcorn. I talked all about it in my journal. But oh well. What's done is done. I got on the wagon right after that and been doing great since. What's the point of regrets right?

How's everyone in here doing today? I hope you all are being stronger than me. Keeping my fingers crossed and my mouth in control till next weigh in day.

            Good luck you all!

OK, guys I turning to you all for some support b/c I have really been down these past two days. OK, I feel thinner, but I feel like crap b/c some how I have gained 2lbs, and I have been on my TOM for almost 2 weeks! I am drinking more then enough water, and I am eating correctly…NO CHEATS! What is wrong with my body!?! I am just frustrated b/c the first time I did this diet I lost weight like crazy, and now I have only lost 7lbs and I am almost done w/ week 3! I know patients are a virtue, but I don’t have them! Awww…it is taking everything I me to not just give up and go back to low calorie! Somebody please help me see the light!!! I don’t have cravings or anything, but it is just depressing me that I work so hard and lose nothing! Thanks for listening! I figured you guys would be the best to vent this to!

Its due to TOM, so we gotta figure out why you've had TOM for two weeks...

how long are they usually? i know the first TOM after you start Atkins can last longer than normal but 2 weeks sounds ike a heck of a long time.

stay strong until TOM is sorted, i promise it will all work out soon enough!

are you checking EVERY label for sugar? staying away from processed foods? wanna list a menu?

My friend had something happen like that as her body adjusted.... she started right before her TOM and then it just seemed to stay with her. After it FINALLY finished (2-3 weeks I think it was)... she had a major woosh of weight loss. I think your body is adjusting to eating a new way - everyone adjusts differently. Hang in there and really watch what you are eating.... sugar and stuff sneak in to foods like there is no tomorrow.

YOU CAN DO IT And BTW - having patience can sometimes stink - LOL but muddle through and don't cheat and I'm sure you'll see something soon.

Sorry I'm late at checking in. I've had internet and computer problems. I'm was at 208.4 on Monday, so up .4 pounds. I haven't been very good at drinking my water, so that is my immediate goal, to get all my water in. Other than that I'm doing pretty good. DH and I went to a movie on Saturday. The popcorn smelled so good, but thanks to him we didn't buy any.

I do have a lot of female problems, but for the past couple of months my TOM has been pretty normal. I did start early this month, and then still had a week left of "period pill" (for birth control), so today was my first day on a new batch, so hopefully I will kick this soon.

I am pretty sure that I eating right...here is what I ate yesterday:

                      Breakfast - 3 Sausage links

Snack - String Cheese and little sausages...I can't think of what they are called for the life of me.

Lunch - 3 pickles wrapped in lunch meat and cream cheese (wasn't very hungry)

Dinner - Baked Chicken w/ Cancun seasoning (no sugar in seasoning) and Salad.

Snack 1/8 c of pure pumpkin,1/8 c cream cheese, splenda and cinnamon.

Any suggestions are welcome!!! Thanks guys for all of the help!

I reccomend broccoli for a woosh. I have absolutely no scientific data to back that up, just know what happens to me when I go a few days without broccoli. It may be the chromium in there? Beats me, but try it! The worst that will happen is you'll get a good dose of vitamins and minerals and fiber

I have no idea what the ingredients for the sausage are off the top of my head, but i will definitely look into that when i get home. I do think that my problem might be that I don't eat enough greens, but I have been trying to do better this week. I do love broccoli, and had some Monday night. I also love horseradish, but for some reason the thought of it makes me want to get sick.

Something happened over my lunch (just now), that kind of made me feel better. I was hugging my husband good-bye and he said "Where did your curves go?"....I said what? He had his hands on my waist and starting feeling up and down, and he said " I can't find your curves!". It was funny...he looked very hard and from every angle, but still couldn't find them. I haven't measured since the beginning of this thing, but I did measure my tummy last week and I had lost 2 inches. I do notice a difference in my clothes, but I just thought what he said was funny.
