      Re: No Jeopardizing In January Challenge

      #1 - Yesterday, I walked away from a bag of Mothers Frosted animal cookies - my favorite of all time...

      #2 - Today I walked a mile at the gym and am going back for another round of walking tonight with my kiddos.

      #3 - At our gym, we have a suspended track and 11 1/2 times around is a mile. I actually jogged one lap. Almost died, but did it!!

        Count me in for 2 x's a week.

        #1- I did not eat any of the candy/ chocolates that I received over the X-mas holiday

        #2- I did not stop at my favorite coffee shop today to get coffee with lots of Hazelnut creamer in it. It has been cold down here in FL the past copple of days and the aroma of everyone's coffee here at work, was clogging my mind with "GO AHEAD FATTY, YOU KNOW YOU WANT IT!". But I did not do it, because I am worth good health

          ~~~I am excited that I am not starting the new year off with the additional 7 pounds that the holidays are meant to put on us. Instead, I can say that I am 15 pounds down from starting this WOL on December 3rd. What an awesome feeling.
          ~~~I am excited that I did not cheat and have any of the fresh baked goods I had to make for my son's school or eat any of the goodies that were given to me for Christmas.

          ~~~I have done 45 minutes of RPM Spin for the past 4 days. To include New Years Eve and New Years Day.
          ~~~I pledged not to drink on New Years Eve and did not take "just one sip" that everyone kept trying to force on me! YAY!

            Sign me up for twice a week. I need to start looking at things in a positive way. This should help.

                    Re: No Jeopardizing In January Challenge

                    I had another opportunity not to jeapordize myself so I thought I would let you know...I'm pretty proud of myself.

                    One of our families favorite dinners is sloppy joes and french fries. My kiddos love it (and so do I), so I fixed it for them. I know that sloppy joes have alot of illegal things in it, and the french fries.....oh my, need I say more?

                    So I ate before I fixed them dinner. I was not hungry when we sat down at the table...I drank water...and I was just proud. Not even a taste...

                    So far, this has been my biggest challenge and I passed. I just thinking of how I would feel tomorrow....and it worked.

                    Just thought I'd share my experience!

                      Re: No Jeopardizing In January Challenge

                      It was another good day on plan. I even went shopping and found a new pair of jeans that I love ( didnt come home upset that nothing fit ). That sounds silly I know, but its the small things that make the day.

                        Re: No Jeopardizing In January Challenge

                        I went out to dinner for a friend's birthday, and stayed on plan. I was the only one at the table not drinking, and I was more than okay with that because I knew what it was going to mean when I stepped on the scale this week. And I lost another 2 pounds as a result of staying on track!

                        I went shopping for jeans the other day, and my usual size 12 was too big! I've now been busy the past few nights with my sewing machine, altering all my pants that are just too big to wear.

                        I have to wear a belt with my work uniform, but I haven't been wearing mine for the past two weeks because I couldn't find it. I finally located it before work yesterday, and I had to go down two notches from where I previously wore it!

                        the chicken was 'involved' - the pig was 'committed'.

                          #1 - Turned off the TV when I saw Burger King and Pizza Hut commericals that made me want to go get non-legal food.

                          #2 - Drank a ton of water yesterday!

                          #3 - Remembered what my goal was and what I was trying to achieve.....lost another 2 pounds for a total of 11 in 6 days!!

                              1- It was Sat night and I was so close to grabbing the "Trader Joe's" trail mix. It looked so good with granola, honey, raisins, peanuts, maole syrup, & salt.I got some for X-mas and had not eaten it. As a matter of fact, I gave it to my mom and she left some of it for my son. Well I spotted it and being that TOM is here, I wanted it! I thought it thru and said to my self "The challenges! If you keep on doing what you always did, then you will keep on getting what you always got! You can't do that to yourself! You are worth it!" I threw it in the outside trash and kept on truckin' toward slimness. I was very proud of myself

                                This week I have ran 1/2 a mile.

                                I have lost 13 pounds since the 1st.

                                I resisted cookies last night.
