    Thanks Blue!

Kiddos, I am actually having trouble getting all my food in. My appetite took a dive. I am making a conscious effort to eat more varied veggies and not just lettuce and spinach (ah, I love spinach). My ketostiks have been very dark even with drinking 100 oz a day. I noted on fitday that my fat was about 70 or so %, protien 25% and carbs running around 3%. I am working it out though! If you guys have any ideas, you can peek at my fitday. It probably looks better today.

Day 15!! OMG - I'm into my third week!!! yay!!!!

Porcelain - you sound like me, I mostly have lettuce and spinach!! lol If I'm having steak or some sort of grilled meat, then I fry a nice onion, mushrooms and a tomato to vary my veg, and I also have rhubarb with a nice big spoonful of extra double cream - now thats nice!!! hehe

            Hey!

Congrats to all who have stayed cheat free

I had a bit of break through weekend - I was staying in a hotel and alls the meals were provided (no choices!) and the food was awful! Really not tasty but also very carby. I ate what I could, left what I couldn't and ate the eggs, cheese and veggies I'd packed. I was so pleased I'd planned ahead and it worked - DAY 8 . Feels like last Summer when I did this sort of thing a lot. Hopefully I can have a clear run at 169 now.

Jane, I know I need to venture out on my veggies because I am eating the required amount it is they just don't seem to have enough carbs! It will be pretty sad on my part if I stall from not eating enough!

Alexa! Good job! Most people would have used that as an excuse to cheat because they had "no choice" I don't even know if I could have withstood that. Excellent. That's what planning ahead can afford you. I need to learn how to do that better. Although, I did make me some quiche in muffin cups for my breakfast these next few days and that's a start!

I went all day yesterday cheat free so that's day 10! Yay for double digits!

Hello Cheat-freers! I had my surgery today and looks like he did it right this time. Last time, I couldn't lift a cup or glass to my mouth for over a week, but I could do it right away this time. I am in very little pain, for which I am grateful. He said the recovery time would be a good three months or more this time, but I think it will be less instead of more.

I managed to get bunches of legal foods cooked ahead and stored where I can reach them, so I have no reason to cheat. I can't put my hands above my head for about two weeks, so I had to put dishes on the counter and foods on the middle shelves in the fridge and freezer.

                      Keep the days going!

                      Sunny!
