    That sounds great! I think exercise of any kind goes better with a friend. I know I used to speed walk more regular when a friend walked with me. One day she wouldn't want to go and I would make her and the next it might be me that didn't want to go, but together, we challenged each other to go ahead and start, because soon we would be enjoying it. Congraqts on starting!

      I agree I'm more likely to work out or exercise if someone is doing it with me as opposed to doing it alone

            Hi guys!

            I don't know if we are using this thread to check in from time to time but just to let you know, I remained totally on plan on my two week holiday! YAY!

            I also bought some really small white pants which I hope to fit in to at the end of the challenge (if only at a squeeze!).

              No thankx Sunny. Guineas make a racket...constantly! When ours "ran" away, we didn't go looking for them!!

                ooohhhh mama!! Did I just get a work out.. I did the 3 mile walk away pound workout; finished it up with 50 crunches, 25 squats, 20 pushups and earlier in the day pedaled at my desk for 5 miles and did various walking.. The sweat is literally dripping from my body ~ if I don't fit into those pants by the end of this I don't know if I ever will!!

                  I may not be able to get out of bed tomorrow, but I did 100 minutes of exercise today. I walked for 55 minutes again today, but probably covered twice the ground that I did yesterday in the same time. Instead of avoiding the steep hills (as if I could where I live) I walked them twice. Then...I rode the recumbent stepper for 25 minutes. This morning I did 20 minutes of floor exercise before coffee and before dressing--just like I used to before I got lazy. I think I'm done for today!

                            Well, after stumbling around all day at the office begging for some REAL pain medicine (like morphine ) I wimped out when I got home and just did about 15 minutes on my climber machine (sorta like rock climbing) just to get the blood flowing in my majorly sore muscles. My **derriere**hurts so bad I did not even want to sit down all day and going to the potty is pure torture. Do feel better after a nice soak in the jacuzzi and I WILL be hitting it again tomorrow. Got a date with Billy (Blanks)

                            Wow, Sunny and FBG, you IRONWOMEN, what an amazing amount of exercise!! Hope you did not overdo it

                              I didn't do any cardio today so I did 200 abs and 50 side leg lifts. I am just glad today is over.

                                Hello all!

                                I'm back! And today I did 4.5 miles on the treadmill and 25 wall push ups. I'm gonna do some squats before bed! Tomorrow I have a busy day. I have my conservatory class at Second City tomorrow from 11-2 and then the Advanced Improv Drop in Class from 4-7pm. So I decided instead of shopping (or eating) during the 2 hour break, I am going to the Hollywood Ymca! I found out I can use my membership pass there 4 times a month and it's 2 blocks from Second City! I checked out the class schedule and there's no classes to take at that time and I don't have enough time to swim and dry my hair and all that jazz so I'm just gonna hit the treadmill. Although I would LOVE to try the elliptical machines since I don't own one and already have a treadmill. Are those elliptical machines difficult to get the hang of?
