    • Last night I did 20 min weight training on upper body and 30 min treadmill on cardio setting.

      Tonight I will do at least 30 min treadmill and try to do weight training on lower body.

      Weight was 145. I hope I've lost inches (can't really tell). If no improvement by Friday I may drop down a few rungs and see what's getting me. I personally think it's the cream cheese in a recipe I fixed. I never show progress when I have cream cheese :anger

          • Helloooooooo everybody!

            Well, when it comes to the queen of tardy, I'm the tardiest! Sorry for not checking in. I've been so ding-danged busy or sick that I don't know which end to glare at in the mirror in the morning!

            I'll post the updated stats. Me, I'm the same. I kicked caffeine though, finally, and am getting back into the exercise swing of things.

                  Weight the same this morning :anger I have no idea what's going on!

                  Anywhooooo... I'm resting today. I am so sore from increasing my exercise. I'm also really depressed that I'm gaining instead of losing. I just don't get it.

                  • Debbie-- the dangdest things can cause weight to not come off. There are times I have to go back and look at what I've been doing so that I can change things up again! Then it starts coming off again.

                    There could be a food or drink causing you to hang up. It could be medication. You could be building muscle which weighs more than fat.

                    Whatever it is, it could be nothing, too! We all plateau from time to time. I find increasing my exercise really helps when this happens.

                    • Thanks Cleo. I upped my exercise intensity but thought I would see better results.

                      I log my food faithfully on fitday and my numbers look right. I just feel like I should be doing better than this. 3 months and I'm only showing a 7 lb loss. Well, I sure hope my measurements are doing better than this!!!

                          Debbie-- Are you in OWL? You might try adding a few carbs and see if that helps. You're getting more fit and that's wonderful!

                          • Cleo, could you check my menu from yesterday? I don't know how to get more carbs without getting more calories. After subtracting the fiber, I'm way low on carbs but.... what to do?

                            • Glad to see you Cleo,i was worried :yes ....Thought you left :sadblinky .............I really need to do this.........Back in 2001 i had lost 103 pounds on Atkins........Kept it off a year........2003-2004 gained it all back :sadblinky ......How???????One cheat lead to another and another and back to my old ways...............So not worth it..........I started back in Jan 2005,This time i pray i lose it and maintain it.........(wire jaws shut)

                                {{{sharon}}} I've been under uber-stress lately petitioning and going before planning and zoning and then volunteering. *lol* And today I've been invaded by socks in the laundry... it's an ongoing battle!

                                Wow! You've lost a lot of weight!!! If it makes you feel any better, I've lost 100 pounds before and gained it all back... 3 times!

                                Don't be like me! We'll get it off of you and keep it off of you this time!
