            Cruisergal,

Try soaking yourself in a bath with a cup or 2 of epsom salts (that you would find in a drug store like CVS). Trust me it takes soreness out of your body and you sleep so much better....and ready for your workout the next day!!

I was very tired today, but I forced myself to do a workout, and I'm sure glad I did. I felt so much better after, sweat & all, though my body is aching a bit! Guess I just need a good nights sleep.

Tania......I feel better already. A good soak in a bath tub is always relaxing. And we have a jetted bath tub, that is almost like a warm and soothing massage. Now why didn't I think of that!

                  Hi,
                  I'm in too.
I want to be back in my size 10's by then. I threw out all my size 14's and my 12's have been pretty snug, although, better this week. I'm rebelling against the scale. Going completely on what fits at the moment. Also listening to a cd that is basically hypnosis. I listened every night this week and surprisingly, it's helped me find my inner strength to say no to the things I need to say no to and yes to the things that will help me reach my goal... I know, it's a little weird, but hey! it's working so far so good and my jeans ARE more comfortable... but they were falling off me. I want to get back to there again.

Liz, that's not weird, I also do it sometimes... and when that happens I keep listening to the same songs over and over again. Fortunately I use headphones, so my room mate doesn't think I'm crazy.

                    Congrats for the loose jeans!

                      Guys,

Starting this week, in addition to my one hour workout everyday, i am planning to add 30 mins of brisk walking late evening....do you think its a good idea?

                        Good Monday morning all!

hopejoy: I have added you to our challenge, welcome. You should be in that size 12 in no time.

tania123: Adding a 30 minute brisk walk is a great idea. The more exercise you do the better. I would like to up mine as well. I did a ton of walking this weekend and felt so good after.

Re: New YOU in the New Year's Challenge

Is it too late for me to join? This would be my first ever challenge if it isn't.

I just finished my third week of induction and am already so pleased with my progress. But I want to be below 200 by the new year. Call it a psychological number, but that first digit rollover will mean a lot to me. I haven't been under 200 pounds for about 15 years!

If I lose more than the 15 pounds I have as a goal, I will be thrilled, but I am too new to this way of eating to try and set too lofty of a goal. So far my exercise consists of walking my 3 big rambunctious dogs several times a day, plus their playtime...They all love the fetch game so I have to toss separate balls for each of them, lol. I give them about 10 minutes of fetching time every day.

Good morning all! Still no movement on the scale for me! I've been so busy this week, I haven't had the time to record in Fitday! I must be sneaking in some exra carbs or sugar alchols, and not realizing. Starting today, I will be recording everything that reaches my mouth, and see if indeed those carbs have been climbing. Hope everyone has a great weekend, an come and check it to tell us how you're coming along towards your goal.
