Only for those ready to commit fully to the program of Dr Atkins and to the rules established for this boot camp.
Read carefully through the rules (duties of participants) and sign up for the camp in this thread.
Make sure that you are aware that the boot camp does have a requirement of reporting and journalling.The participant must factor this in and ONLY sign up if you can meet the requirements. Boot camp is hard. There will be no coddling on boot camp. Failure to comply may lead to dismissal from boot camp
Boot camp has three levels of participation
Induction
OWL
Maintenance
Sign in for the level you are at. Your food requirement will follow the level you are at in this challenge
Boot camp has the following focuses: Food, Water, Exercise, You will need a copy (or access to a copy) of Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution 2002(DANDR)
Duration of Camp 5 days
Objective of Camp
-focus on a total adherence to the rules of Atkins and rules of the boot camp.
-sharpen physical and mental focus
-achieve needed discipline for long term success on the program
Duties of Participants of camp
-Food
has to be clean eating. Avoiding processed foods
no sweeteners not even artificial ones (This will require careful label reading and likely for you to cut out some foods that may have been eating. But these cannot be had on boot camp)
No starches
No Nuts
No Sour Cream
Cream limit of 2 tbs
Cheese limit of 3oz
vegetables - most carbs will have to come from veggies on bootcamp unless you are on OWL or in Maintenance have a CCLL over 45
Otherwise the rules of induction and OWL must be followed completely
Daily food intake have to be reported in your journal. The recruit can also link to fitday if so preferred. Recruit may also chose to post a menu in "Review my Menu" for review my other recruits.
Drink
Water is required on boot camp. Every participant needs to have at least 64 oz every day.
No sweetened drinks allowed
One coffee or tea can be had per day of boot camp
Exercise
Mandatory 30 minute daily exercise. Drills may be counted towards these 30 minutes.
If the recruit has any health or physical issues that prevents him/her from meeting this requirement please discuss with the drill sergeant.
Journalling
A journal must be opened if you do not already have one to report on food intake, water intake and exercise. A link to individual journals should be edited into your sign up post. Participant should weigh and/or measure before boot camp

How it will work:
Daily requirement outlined under Duties of the participants must be adhered to every day on boot camp
Daily special drills will be announced in this forum and must be performed (may include volunteering on the board, an exercise task, a reading task from DANDR).
When relieved from boot camp you will receive a certificate of completion
