Have you ever met with anyone you knew online?

I've also had lunch with friends from other places I used to post, or had phone call conversations with a few of them as well! I have one good friend from ADBB with whom I enjoy cutting up on the phone. She's hilarious.

How about you? Have you become off-line friends with anyone, either from ADBB or other places you've chatted and made friends online? Have you met any people?

I met my husband online in a Jewish chatroom. We were just buddies for several years, along with a bunch of other folk like us.

Then we met in person and fell madly in love in the same instant. The rest is history.

And I've met a ton of other people, too, who have become good friends. But I haven't married any of them. Even you, Cleo.

I haven't met anyone online. I'm close (ok 4 hours) to Minneapolis, maybe if we ever have a gathering there I'll do a road trip

I haven't met anyone on this board (yet) but I have met with other people on a Farscape board. Even helped organize and participate with a Save Farscape table during a sci-fi convention a couple of years ago. It was a great success.

Nursey and I have talked about organizing a North West ADBB meet up in Spring. All would be welcome of course! Now I just have to meet nursey! Lol!

I have met approximately 30-40 people over the years I've been online, and it's only been an .......unusual experience....once.

I met my husband online also! I have been with him almost 7 years!!! I don't regret a thing about it.

I am meeting up with some friends off another board next June in Panama City, Florida. That is why I have to lose weight! I wanna look good lying on that beach! LOL!

I met my best friend online. I have tried to meet up with 2 friends from here but we keep missing each other.
