Phone friends, but haven't met anyone in person. I did meet up online with someone I knew in person (in fact, one of my closer neighbors at the time). That was kind of freaky!

I met Elleth, the admin, this year at Microsoft TechEd in Orlando. We went to a dinner theater with both of our spouses.

I met my husband on line, 4 years ago. And I met with Moochiecat twice, infact just recently a couple of weeks ago, we took some pics, and I willhave to post them real soon!

Becky (dreamof145) drove down to phoenix to meet me this summer while I was in the states visiting.....She is just as sweet and wonderful in person as she is online.

My cousin didn't have as much luck....well she wouldn't listen to me, she met up with this guy she was chatting with after I told her I had a creepy feeling about him and he ended up stalking her!

I havent met with anyone in person that I have met on line.


I have had phone conversations with a few of the other mods, but never met with anyone in person.

Barb and I have bonded for life!
this was the most fun!!!!! I can not believe how true they were in life to who they were in writing I adore both these girls and feel lucky to have met them!

Bug I am hoping we can do that this spring how fun it would be!!!!

It was one of the most gratifying experiences of my life to have met Barb and Nursey in person. I am lucky in that Barb lives in the same state as me and only about 2 hours away. So I know I will get to see her from time to time. And Nursey's parents live like 5 miles from my house! Kismet? YOU BET!!!!!!

I love these girls. The diet drew us together but through communicating on the board our friendship grew and it is something I treasure dearly!! I am so glad I took the chance to meet the people my heart told me were for real!!!!!!

Here's a pic from the first time we met(please bear in mind that I have helmet hair in this picture!!!) CruiserGal looks great in both pictures...she's very photogenic.

And here's us just recently. My hair looks better but my shorts are too tight and that white shirt makes me look big..geez...who dresses me when I go out?!!...lol

Yes! A younger guy and I became good friends when we started talking about churches in the Pensacola area (on a Baptist/Prayer Request forum similar to this). I didn't think much of it because I normally like older men, he lived in Alabama and I lived in Louisiana...but after about nine months of emailing each other, then chatting on the phone...we finally met. He ended up being the nicest person I've ever met and we've now been married for FIVE years this month on September 29!!! I still can't get enough of being around him. I think he's adorable!

Hey, we ought to start a thread where everyone who wants can post how they met their spouse, boyfriend or girlfriend. I love romantic stories!!

At least twice...was on an Expecting June 1999 board and turned out that 1 of the other moms lived not 10 minutes away. And from the same board, made a friend in Philly that I've had to my house. Her husband was calling me "the axe murderer"! LOL!!! Had a great time and we were all over Boston when she came to visit. So anyone coming to Boston??
