    Hey Kathy,
    I'm in Boston. Well, sort of. I'm in Dracut (bout 30 minutes away).

    And while we're on the subject, I also met my husband online. We knew each other online for 6 years before we met in person. Then we met twice, for one week each time, and then we got married. He came here on a fiance visa (he's from Canada) and we got married after about 60 days of living together. It's been over 3 years and we haven't killed each other yet!

      While in college, I met with a firefighter from Gainesville (very cute, but too old for me) and I hid from a guy from Seattle that took a bus all the way from Seattle to Tallahassee to meet me. That was just too weird and since he swore his love to me after chatting 2 times, I didn't think he was someone that would be safe to meet.

        I met my hubby online..We will be married 7 years in november.....When we married my daughter was 9,she will be 16 this month..He adopted her when she was 11...Wonderful man....And to put up with me oy vey...

          I have never "met" anyone from online. But, I have had the wonderful pleasure of talking to many people on this site. From all corners of the world.

            I met my husband "online" in 1994. But, I've met a LOAD of people on the internet. It's been a great source of friendship for me, over the years!

              I met up at a board gathering for another site back in 2001, that was my first time meeting people from the internet. I was actually really scared to go to the gathering. You hear so many scary stories about meeting people from chats/boards. But it was a really fun evening!

              I met Pammie through another board. It's a fan site for a group we both love (Smap). She had an extra ticket for a concert. I had a free weekend, so we met in Hiroshima.

              Now I've met heaps of other fangirls for different concerts and events!

                A couple of folk from another list, but no one from this board.

                Richt would be closest to me - about one hour's drive, but we have never met.
                Atkins didn't say 'Calories don't count',

                      I've talked to Becky Sue and Tamariah and Tammy on the phone. I had the opportunity to meet Tamariah in person this summer!!

                          I can now say I've met someone at this board!

                          Dianne (Bluegrassinthepark) joined here this year, but I met her a few years back when we were members of a different board! I'd like to hook up with some people from ADBB next year, especially as I know a couple live locally and there are some folks in Washington State I'd like to get the chance to *hip bump* in person.

                              I've met a few people including my best friend and boyfriend. You can meet lots of great people from the internet. You just have to be careful.

                                I met my husband online through Match.com. We emailed for over a year before we met. We've been together for 4 years, married for over a year now.


                                I have met many, many wonderful people from online. I have also met some "not so wonderful" people. You do indeed have to be careful.

                                I would not think twice about meeting anyone from this board.
