We got stars too when I was in school. We all loved the positive reinforcement that was used to get us to act like little ladies and gentlemen. I am one of those people who like positive reinforcement rather than negative anyway because I grew up in a house where my parents ruled with punishment rather than praise.

no I don't like the rep thing cause it is misnamed and forces us to "share love" with many folk instead of just saying wow what a great post and be done with it.

As I said you were the first to actually speel out how the reps worked. the new one is asking folk to go forth and rep and was after this one.

Well if I had known that I would have stated them earlier.

Since nothing dealling with any code changes is open then are you saying the changes are on/off of the sender option, on/off of the whole thing, and/or changes the numbers needed to score points?

That is what I was suggesting. I already have one person who wants to shut all reps off as a feature. That is going to be my first poll. (I think the how you set your goal weight has run its course.) Other possible rep changes are - increase/decrease the # of reps per day, increase/decrease # of reps shown, who sent the reputations shown or not, etc. Those sorts of changes are on the table at this juncture.
