American biscuits:They are the basic English scone: the recipe is more or less the same, they are baked the same way and shaped the same way. And here, they are eaten as you would eat bread: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
American "scone" is a monstrosity. They are just wedge-shaped American muffins---sweetened and flavored. They're sold at trendy coffee shops and bakeries.~Megs~

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!
