This is Snow, Angel, and Ebony. Snow decided to only show his butt that day. Angel has brown eyes, Snow has blue eyes. They are brother and sister.

I love your Siberians! We have a dog that we rescued that is part Sib Husky and she is wonderful! (Her pic is on this post somewhere...)

Why do you have to give them up? That is so sad.

My husband has been deployed for 2 and a half years, he will be coming home in Oct or Nov. He is in the guard, and has decided to go active and we can't take them all. It is like having to find new homes for your children.........

I also have been remodeling and I don't have enough time for them. Yes, they get fed and the water they need, but they need and deserve so much more than just what keeps them alive. I would rather be miserable without them than to have them miserable in my care. I know at some point I could have them, but they still deserve better than I can give them at the moment, right now.

The place I am remodeling is about 30 minutes from them. It is taking forever because I am doing this on my own.

It is sounding like a great big excuse, but it's not.

I know just what you are going through, Tammy. We had to either give away or sell 3 dogs before a move. We were lucky enough to be able to give our Schipperke back to the breeder, who loved him so much when we bought him. We had an adorable (most gorgeous ever IMO) basset hound that we sold, and I often wonder if he is ok and loved. It is a terrible feeling losing your pets.

As far as dogs go, I grew up in the sticks and we have had so many dumped on us. However, since my first siberian, I can not have any other breed. They can be a big pain in the butt, they keep you on your tows because they are little Houdini's. Anya ( didn't post her pics yet) can open gates, Angel can climb up the side of our 6 ft fence, Ebony (she will be the hardest to say goodbye too because I was there when she was born, I had to help with her a little) she can make a hole in the fence like no one's business, then there is Willow. She could dig to china if she took the notion, lol.


There is nothing like having a really crappy day and coming home and being tackled by a pack of super hairy smiling dogs, most of them with ice blue eyes... .Or sitting on the back porch on a winter's night, full moon, with a cup of hot chocolate, they hear you talking and they start howling and singing.
They love kids, they love everyone, and they are great jogging partners. Even at 300lbs, Willow can pull me up a hill, making me run. I really think she was just trying to kill me
