    Re: Fess up time!

Would take the Hershey's Chocolate Flavored Syrup in the big squeeze bottle, one bag of double stuffed oreo cookies and sit down around our campfire (we live on a lake) and drink, ironically, diet coke then eat oreo and squeeze chocolate straight into my mouth. Sound totally Disgusting now that I think of it. No one my age should be doing stuff like that. I think back and I was beginning to be border line between Dr. Phil and Jerry Springer.

            Re: Fess up time!

This is embarassing, but I know you all love me, so here goes...

I could eat Ramen Noodles like there was no tomorrow. Four packages in a sitting. Did you know each package was 2 servings???

Ghirradelli Chocolate Brownie batter. I'd whip up a bowlful of batter and eat it with a spoon until I was ready to puke. Of course, I did this when no one was around.

Fresh baked bread slathered in butter. My family own's a restaurant, and they baked bread every day. In the morning at work I'd have a half loaf of bread hot out of the oven dripping with butter and a cup of coffee.

Munchos! You know those gross, greasy, styrofoam-ish potato chips? OMG, when I had PMS, I'd eat a whole bag by myself. Same with Fritos corn chips.

              - Chocolate Chips from the cupboard, too.
              - Bread, especially fresh, slathered with molasses
              - Pop (soda) - I had to get "my" share of whatever was in the house (I can't believe that attitude, now, but I can see it rearing it's ugly head occasionally with other people, and perhaps even me - but usually, now, it's something LC - like "special" cans of tuna or something (smoked, flavoured, etc.))
              - I wasn't a really big potato chip person, but if I sat down with a bag, it would be gone in a very short time
              - sweets (cookies, cake) - I would "sneak" them when nobody was looking - so I could get "my" share or whatever

Most of my eating was "on the sly" - sad, really.

I think could eat my weight in Kraft dinner. one box was easily one serving for me, there are 1000 calories and 140 g's of carbs in one box .

                  Re: Fess up time!

                  Great thread Bren,

I used to be a totally normal eater - then got a thyroid problem and gained 42 pouds in one year and then started to eat total rubbish. It was like, 'Well, I'm big anyway, I may as well enjoy myself'. Yeah, great logic

With me it wasn't sweets as much as chocolate - a total addict. I would think 'where will my chocolate come from today' like a drug addict or something. I'd be happy with a small one, but if I bought a big one I couldn't leave any. Ditto chocolate cake - with cream. Also maryland cookies, so easy to eat them all in one go. Chocolate machines on the tube, impossible to avoid for me. And always I'd have an excuse like 'oh, it's my TOM' or 'hey, I'm celebrating X' or 'it's the weekend'.

Pizza, as others have said, also became a problem. My BF eats like a horse, with no weight trouble, so he'd order loads and I gradually caught up with his portion size . Ditto pasta.

It'd good to admit this stuff without being able to remember the last time I did it
