We go up to our cottage for new years, which is 3 hours north of toronto, we do the toast etc at midnight, then we all throw on our snowpants and jackets and go toboganning at the hill out back
We started this 4 yrs ago saying we'd do it every year...well that tradition ended this year with waaaay to warm temps. All we had was slush and rain

Usually this time of year there's a foot of snow easily, right now it's all grass. it's a shame as it's also killing local businesses as the skiiers snowmobilers and ice fishermen are no where to be seen.

That's a must do for the New Year. Especially to buy a new pair of shoes. Do you know how many shoes sales there are on New Years? Lots!
