    Ruben,

    Are you making the steak yourself or are you ordering it at a restaurant? I remember reading somewhere on this site that AppleBee's was injecting their bleu cheese sirloin with a dextrose solution. I had been going there and eating it often before I found this out, and it had caused me to stall. I would have never guessed it though. Maybe the same sort of thing is going on here?

      Hi RubenO,

      You may want to look at your total calorie count in Fitday. Carbs count, but calories will get you as well. Depending on the portion size you may be consuming too many calories.

      Some questions that popped up when reading:

      For breakfast how many eggs in the ommelette (or scrambled)?
      Do the sausage links have sugar in them (label)?
      Maybe Coke 0 is stalling?
      Serving size of salad?
      Amount of veggies total?
      Check the label on the SF jello for no-nos?

      Your body may be adjusting or adapting still.

        I van not hav eonions too much they cause mr to stall they have like 20 carbs

          I just got done with being a DS in Boot Camp, so forgive me if this seems abrupt at all. I certainly don't intend it to be. To really judge your menu's acceptability we need to know size for each of veggies mentioned. From appearances alone, it looks like you went over the 3 cups salad veggies or 2 cups salad and 1 cup other veggie rule for Induction. Just a reminder, lettuce is not a free food in this diet. It is limited not only by the carb amounts per day limit but also by the cups per day limit.

          The aspartame in the SF Jello in Dr. A's research showed stalls in 25% of all people. I personally always had a negative reaction to it. If I was in the midst of weight loss hesitation, that, cheese, and perhaps cream would be some of the first things I would restrict.

          How many oz of cheese per day are consuming? (3 oz is the limit until OWL)

          Have you checked the blackened Cajun spices for any hidden starches or sugars?

          Other than be patient -- weight loss is not always linear downward. It is also recommended to start measuring yourself to see if you might changing body shape and not pounds.

            first off you say you have the same stuff every day that right there is a clue that you aren't feeding your hunger cause there is no way youo are experiencing the same amount of huger day in and day out every meal.

            The hardest thing to learn on Atkins is to ONLY feed your hunger and when that is satisfied stop! even if you got food on the plate carbs in your budget or room in your belly. Dr Atkins even tries to teach you how by tell us to eat only 1/2 the food on our plates and walk away. when we again get hunger eat. try it and see if you are over eating your Atkins. your ketosis should be in effect full swing by now and you should not have a big appetite nor feeling much hunger.

            next You could just be in the post induction 2 weeks scale weight loss hesitation period. Have you lost inches while the scale didn't move while you have been morphing your body on Atkins? Remember the scale only tells us the effect of gravity on our total mass you can be losing fat mass but adding muscle mass and fluid mass at the same time.
            and last some folk have issues with the natural sugars in onions and tomatoes. see if you are one of them by not eating them after you check your jello for aspartame and your spices for hidden sugars.

            the time you eat isn't important as we are fat burning 24/7 on Atkins and ouyr bodies burn cals during the night too while we are sleeping.
            What youo doing for exercise now? And how much water are you deinking? those are two very important aspects of our weight loss too.

              First of all, I want to congratulate you on making the decision to lose weight and get healthy. No matter what your size, I think we all know the ups and downs of the weight loss lifestyle and can agree it is no fun. Atkins offers a plan that is easy to stick to without feeling hungry,deprived and left out in social settings. Many restaurants offer low carb choices. The key is to get, and remain, motivated to accomplishing this goal and I think you will see results quickly. It is very important that you get moving and don't cheat during the induction, but if you do, don't beat yourself up...just get back on it and keep going! The only thing that can hold you back now is you. You can do it!
